Just picked up #796 yesterday. Some GTS-Rs fully done and a voodoo, snakeskin GTC and snakeskin ACR-E plus tons of other sweet rides of every shape and color combo. Kids loved the tour!

Thx again Bill Pemberton!
Looks great! Wondered what a TA2 would look like with GTS hood. Now we know.
Just for reference for those still waiting on their cars, my car VIN #822 was delivered this Saturday July 15th! Here is some info:
-I chose and submitted my final color sample for my order in February
-My car entered D1 status at the beginning of April
-I got my first paint pictures on June 22nd
-Engine and Chassis pictures began on June 28th
-Final assembly pictures came on July 6th
-Quality validation and Completion pictures on July 6th
I really doubt my car was completed in a window of 2 weeks. So, I believe what this means for those that are still showing D1 status in the Viper Concierge Portal, is that your car may be a lot further along in the process than you think and it could all happen very quickly for you the way mine did. Seems like with mine, the Viper Concierge waited to post my updates and pictures towards the very end of my build.
Hope this helps some of you...
So what's the highest VIN# for the final year? I see #822 is mentioned in another post. I assume basically 95% of cars are built at this point and going through quality inspection/deliveries.
I wonder if the media is invited on August 12th for the Viper event at the factory.
I think there's still under 4000 Gen V built in total for this generation.
From the event earlier today, just 10 cars left to be built. Looks like there is under 4000 Gen V Vipers that were built. Instant classic.
Instant classic because there's no more being made, wouldn't be if they switched to Gen 6.![]()
I guess the Dodge Dart is an instant classic.
...that's a supercar. We can go all day if you want. I have the time.![]()
I reached out to Lamborghini Carolina regarding a mint ZR1 list as I am looking for a track car a few weeks ago. The Viper came up in the conversation and the salesman said the Lamborghini franchise owner purchased two 2017 snakes. I found that fact pretty interesting....
I was at Conner yesterday and got see my car on the line...last of the 10 remaining cars being built. Pretty cool that the last Viper was actually on the line albeit out of sequence. My vin is 633 (Canadian car). All remaining builds are non-US cars other than the last Viper which won't be a customer car.

Where is the last viper going?
Sounds like the last Viper (whether it's actually built last or not) is going into FCA's collection. I don't know where, if anywhere, they exhibit it now that the Walter. P. Chrysler museum is closed...perhaps it's being renovated?
It seems like the actual last car made will be Canadian or at least not a USA car...what other markets are they sold in?
I was told by a plant employee yesterday that the last VIN number Viper was built out of sequence and went to the couple in Texas. That is also consistent with the data previously released from Dodge and SRT regarding the issue.
The second to last customer Viper is vin 842 and belong to Prefix's owner and the last Viper is for D'Ann but the very last Viper will go to Chryler's collection so I assume the last vin is 844....but it's true that all Viper at the plant were Canadians because they have to make sure that all US cars were done before August 31st to met the new regulation.

As discussed the last VIN is not the last Viper built. Is the last Viper is the last car built or the last VIN. Given that the cars are built out sequence I'd suggest the last Viper is the last car built. The "last Viper" per plant manger is already half-done. It was on the line while I was there.
D'Ann's car is the last US customer car and it has already been built. There are 9 more to build as of last Friday.
Cool glad that's over.
