Got my official "it's definitely going to be built" notification from the concierge a couple of days ago, so I guess I'll start the clock ticking. He said a VIN should be issued shortly, and I'm going to check tonight to see what the scoop on that is. I'm excited - for a little while there, I thought my order had gotten cancelled (the ACR order-closing drama that's going on right now), but now that I know I'm in the clear, I'm looking forward to having a new toy whenever it manages to get here.

EDIT: Got my VIN last night - it's 00393 and my car should be done after winter (with some hope on that - nowhere to put it now because I'm building a new garage...).

With the 1 of 1's, there are a lot of really great and unique colors but I really like the ACR-E's in more classic color schemes. This is a race car and the simple and straight forward approach really works

Ordered mine just a couple weeks ago and got the VIN last week 2017 ACR. Hey I guess you guys know when they send photos of your Viper with all the older ones in the background that red one sitting sideways, that's the 1988/89 prototype in the background. Just thought that was cool. I have my 2016 in there as well with the proto in the background...So cool. Love all the colors and types everyone ordered. Never seen a Viper I didn't like!!!

Thanks. The wing is painted. I like it best that way. I agree all the color combos are great, but I wanted a classic look. Debated between red and white or GTS blue and white. It was a hard decision, but the red just spoke to me.

The Viper concierge sent the pics. It's part of the 1 of 1 program. The non 1 of 1 don't get pics. However, with the amount of cars Gerry Wood ordered, I would think they might be able to get you a pic or two. Some of their cars are 1 of 1 so if you got one of those I don't see why you wouldn't get the pics.

The 1 of 1 program gives you access to a personal website where they post pics and info about your build. It's really cool.

Hello everyone! First post here. 2017 GTC ordered and on oct 12 got my VIN, #482. Stryker purple with white stripes. TA1.0, and GTS (red/black). Also ordered the CF crossbrace through my concierge. Now let the wait begin! Hoping it's not ready until at least April so I can do factory tour/pickup. I'll post when build progresses. Super excited, dreamed of a viper since i was 13 and when I heard this was the finale I knew the time was now. Glad to be on the forums!

I LOVE Stryker purple! I almost went for it myself, but I just HAD to have Snakeskin Green. Been wanting that color since it first came out. Congratulations!! Looking forward to the pics.

I've got a sublime 2015 challenger hellcat also. ALWAYS wanted a Plum crazy car but saw pics of the Stryker purple in the sunlight and new that had to happen. Excited to begin the process. Pics of course to follow once the build begins!

I've asked for a plant tour, and some advance notice of when I can go, which apparently has to be near to when your car is coming off the line or after its off the line. I'll post the date I get when I get it.
