Did you put the standard ATF+4 Dodge stuff back in, or a better oil? I put Amsoil Multi vehicle full synthetic ATF and my tranny shifts like butter in all gears. Much improved shifting over the stock oil.

I've never heard of putting butter in a transmission before !

my 2016 ACR-E transmission is noticeably notchier than my 2014 TA. Almost feels like it's going to grind before going in on some shifts.

Keep in mind, your trans probably has carbon based parts in the sychro's. Some oils (even popular products) can cause the carbon rings to swell, subsequently, hard notchy shifts

My 3rd and 4th gets notchy when hot as well, still on factory fill. Not a big problem for me but it's noticeable. Although 2nd gear whines on decel not loud to the point of concern but it's there.

My Gen 5s shift fine, hot or cold. However, I did once have this problem on my 09 ACR. Ended up the trans needed a rebuild with new synchros and some other parts I don't remember.

Tried some Amsoil trans fluid last weekend at the track. Shifting seemed to be solid other than my own mistakes and getting accustomed to how much torque this thing puts down. Its just hard to put power down on some tight turns and get into the next gear. One hand on the wheel turning left while car going right due to centrifugal forces and engine torque clockwise lol. A lot going on.

Since then, I have a feeling like 1st and 2nd are a little notchy and less buttery compared to before, especially when cold. I dont know if this is just in my head or if I hurt something. Any ideas? What is the best oil for this trans? I have also reached out to Donato for some help.

Does the increased notchy feeling on up or down shifts into 3rd / 4th ?
How long running on the track before it starts to get noticeable ?

Could be the bronze blocker rings are worn.
