    Colour help POLL

So I finally received the pricing on my 1of1 with my dark red vintage Alfa colour. About $20,000 more than a comparably equipped non 1of1. So I'm not prepared to go there.

I'm back to the standard ACR colour palette and I'm DRIVING MYSELF INSANE. I'm leaning towards GMP and doing stripes as I fancy but I also like the idea of a properly painted car.

    What do you think?

I've seen many colors first-hand, the blue w/white stripes is bad ass. One of my favorites. I've also seen a grey with black ACR wide stripe and red driver's stripe, it is also amazing. So I would think the grey with red stripes would work well too.

    Here's Darius's blue-white in person...

Seriously? This will just make your quest that much worse!

First decide on stripes or not before you go any further. The rest comes down to completely personal taste, so I don't know how to help much beyond that. Some of your choices pop more than others. Do you want that or not? Anything else I say is going to begin with "well, I like ...." which is either going to annoy you or please you depending on whether it agrees with your "actual sense of choice". MAybe that's a means for you to find it?

Well I like stripes that are muted. Maybe you can take it from there. Good luck. Great to face such a difficult dilemma, eh?

    $20k?!?!?! I don't blame you.

There are no bad looking choices above so I'm not going to vote. You have to listen to yourself, try to weed out one combo for reason x or y (no matter how trivial) and at the end of the day just pull the trigger and go with it. Everyone will have a different opinion but they aren't writing the check so who cares. Do what makes you happy. If you still can't decide, draw out of a hat and if you truly want what you draw you will take it otherwise you will try to find a reason to draw again.

1of1 is based on the GTC and they raised the price $12,000 this year (strong USD). So you go GTC and have to add ACR for $30,000, Ceramics, $10,000, ACR interior $6,000 and custom colour $4,000. Price that alongside a no options ACR (comes with all of the above) and it's over $20,000 more. If the paint was just the $4,000 I'd be all over it!

    Good advice guys. Thanks.

I'm leaning towards Grey on Brass Monkey wheels as a subtle Viper and then experimenting with vinyl stripes...

Get the blue, no stripes and put vinyl stripes on later. $600 worth of vinyl > 10K worth of hand painted stripes. Plus if you get tired of them, you can remove them.
That blue is awesome. I went for the Competition Blue because I'm cheap but had I decided to go 1 of 1, I would have gotten that blue or the TA 2.0 Orange.

Grey or silver with white stripes would look better imo. Something about white stripes on an ACR. I may only be making this harder for you haha

This is obviously highly subjective. I was at a dodge event in Michigan last night. I was around 50+ vipers all in the parking lot. Blue with white stripes looks absolutely fantastic assuming you go with a darker blue and not say competition blue.

My buddy drives a metallic grey that really is beautiful in person and I prefer it to s grey without the metallic. Another benefit is that it shows some depth, shines and will hide small imperfections and swirls better than a mirror finish.

Venom black with red stripes is probably the most menacing but very hard to clean.

All of your selections look great. For me, from your selection would be grey with red or blue with white and I would lean toward the blue and white. Great issue to have to figure out! Congrats.

Ceramics are included with the ACR interior, so knock that off your price.

GTS Stripes are $3,500 in Canada.

There is a reason FCA loves their Blue/White and show it off and lots of press events! I would not go just blue, quite honestly, it doesn't pop and is a little dull. But with white stripes.....its a hole different animal.

I tried that- ordered a solid color and did vinyl stripes. I don't like them, they look cheap as compared to a paint job. Orange peel, they tend to peel, no where near as nice as paint. The exception were the carbon fiber vinyl stripes- they looked pretty good. But the gloss stripes don't.

My ACR is at Prefix as we speak, getting stripes done right. I wish that I had ordered stripes in the first place. Then again, they weren't offered with Stryker colors back then.

I decided on the ACR wide stripe and driver's stripe, both in gloss black. However, I'm having wing painted Stryker Orange with black stripes too, which is uncommon with this stripe scheme. I think it'll make the orange pop more.

As for color- Black is not unique, but I couldn't find any other stripe color that complemented the Stryker Orange. It's such a dominant color that the only colors that seem to go with it are the non-colors: white (but it's too bright), black, or some sort of shade of grey. After looking at a bunch of paint chip samples, black it is

Should look nice with the painted wing. I liked the white too. The good news is you got to try out a few combos before you had them painted.

I am not going to help because it is a personal preference.......what feels best to you and something that you can live with forever.....last car of it's kind. You have to go to your garage and look at it and love the color you choose everyday. I gave Pemberton an ulcer choosing colors.....ordered a one of one and still waffle about colors on my "was that the right color to order days"

I'm not a fan of the matte fad myself, so I'd surely go with the blues of those choices.

I'm not considering matte...it's just the way they look from the online configurator.
