Lowering Spring Caps - 2013 GTS - Pics

    Viper Small.jpg

Top is before, bottom is after.

Finally bought the lowering spring caps after lurking for a while. Ride is exactly the same (can't live with losing the dual mode ability), the drop is very subtle but there is a definite difference in the wheel gap/shape of wheel gap. The alignment was the worst part, took the dealer an entire day. I don't scrape on anything. Very happy with results. Happy to answer any questions.

Looks way better. I am thinking about getting a set as well, for my GTS. Did you install them? I also see you added the VIPER name above the GTS logo. The car should have came like that from factory.

    Hey,

Yes I added the Viper logo, it was the "Viper GT" logo available online, I just cut out the GT. Forgot about that mod lol.

No I just got the GTS alignment. The dealer did it, they also performed the installation without removing any of the shocks. They did however have to run to Autozone to get the right size spring compressor.

I like it. Just enough to make a difference but not so low that you have to worry when driving.

I also got the "Viper" badges, but I got JUST "Viper". I felt that just "GTS" looked weird on the fenders and it didn't say Viper on the car anywhere.
I think for 15' they added that badge. It looks better in my opinion.

It's both a blessing and a curse, not having "Viper" anywhere spurs on conversation when people ask what it is, but then again, noone knows what it is without a "Viper" logo haha.

...and worse, I have had people say "nice corvette..." 😧😧😧

I'm selling a set of the lowering caps. Only put about 500 miles on them before going to MCS shocks. PM me a decent offer and they are yours!

The 2015s+ have those emblems on the side from factory.

Hey you should delete this post or edit it as you found out the rubbing problem was due to the spacers on your car

Yes I have the same one as Dr. Ron. Easy to apply, not the same as the one that goes on the valve covers.

Also, ZERO rubbing, unless you are talking about on the ground lol. The little plastic piece in front of the front wheels has rubbed a couple times on high approach angles when I haven't been paying attention, but never the fascia on the ground. I see that you had spacers, that may cause a problem.

Lastly, no idea about the epoxy, it was on the garage floor when I bought the house :-P.
