Hello...I just wanted to let everyone know we are already working on this issue at Temple Performance and starting to make some progress. Thanks John

I just got a 1996 GTS and would like to get replacements for my driver and passenger sides. Please keep us updated!
I need both sides.
Ditto.......... need a solution as well.

Still waiting.
Thank you John for working on a solution for this!
Opinion poll...I am looking at doing the replacement seal and reusing the original plastic stanchions. The attachment of the seal would be using an industrial adhesive the attach to the old stanchions. I would send them assembled and done but require the old parts be send to me as a core. Is this a viable option for everyone. Thanks

I would be happy with the weatherstrip without the stanchions. John, if needed, I have a bunch of plastic stanchions.
I would prefer only the weatherstrip separate.
That will be the way I point this project then...Thanks for the input as it was exactly how I was thinking. I will keep everyone informed as I go.
John
I'm in for the seals as well. Please keep us updated.
Just an update...we are talking to several new vendors so hopefully I will have good news on production soon. They keep telling me its a complex part and I have to stay in my budget. SEMA helped. Thanks John (770)722-2587
Good to hear John, thank you for the update!
Do we have any price point for these or target price point? I will buy at least 5 driver sides. Need a couple now and would like to have some more for the future as almost every car I get needs one now a days and I just used my last one that I had on a shelf.
I am interested also, but I need the whole part for my 96 GTS. (Part number 2) in the drawing, both sides. Or are we talking about a different part?

What we are working to replace is the entire rubber trim that attaches to the stanchion panel all the way around it but not the plastic panel itself. Most customers panels are reusable and will be glued to the original panel. I have a good stock of the panels if customers need that in addition to the rubber parts. Cost looks like it will be between $175.00-$195.00 per side. Thanks John

Im interested, make it happen. Ive tried regluing the window stripping and it never looks right.
I've been in contact with the Guy that makes the colored Viper key blanks on eBay about these stanchion seals. He does Injection molding and rubber parts for a career. He's working on a solution for us.
Thank you for the contact...we are working together to get them produced. I will keep everyone updated as we get closer to production. John
