Whats this? (Viper noob... less than 1 year of ownership)

Just a quick question...was cleaning the engine and noticed this plug with a twist off metal cap. What is it?

LOL...thanks. Is there anything that must be done with it? Ever need adjustment or replacing?

Nitrous sounds much more fun that Schrader anyway...

Nothing unless it starts to leak.

You use it to test fuel pressure with a test gauge. They can be very difficult to remove after they've been in there for 20 years or so if you ever have to change it.

Don't you have a pic of how that is supposed to work?.....with the gauge strapped to window or something?

It works however the car owner wants it to. But let me help you with the concept basics. You seem to be confused? Maybe just curious?

*YOU HAVE TO ACTUALLY SEE THE GAUGE WHILE THE CAR IS OPERATING AT WOT*

Questions? Or would you be the *smart one* that would get an extra 100 feet of Pep Boys fuel hose and have another car ride beside holding the gauge while the WOT test is underway?

Anywho, coming from the non-salvage title crowd and employing one of the most reknowned Viper tuners there is, I performed the test per his specification.

Who's your tuner? Or does yours wrecked/salvage car even run yet bro?
