They've surely bumped their heads on pricing!
The car is pretty bas ass, 7:37 in the rain is not too bad. It would have been nicer if the car had a little more motor but my guess is they are saving that for the ZO6. The seats and the CCB's added some $ to the car, I think it will fly off the shelf when it's released. I'd buy that car before a C7 anyday!
I like the options available.....1. That is how it's done when making a targeted product.
You can get a new corvette for less lol. I'd list all of the better cars for the money, but don't have enough space.
It'll lose 50% value in 20 months and be a mass produced dime a dozen GM, just like its sibling the corvette.
I respectfully disagree fellow New Englander. GM will produce over 20,000 C7's this year with the possibility of 25k plus, they are only projected to produce 1500 Z28's. With the ZL1 and SS models the Z28 will be a limited build b/c it will have a limited buyer which IMO means it won't tank like the C7 in value. Heck they may even have trouble selling 1500 b/c of the Vette and Camaro siblings, the car is for the pure track rat buyer kind of like the ACR or T/A.
Time will tell who is correct. Either way it's FUGLY
Limited availability doesn't always mean huge value holder. Look at the GT500KR's they were $125k new, get them in the $40k's now. ZR1's both generations were limited editions too and took a dive in value like all vehicles.
Not an exciting car. It is too much of a pig to be a real track car. No bueno.
I think it's hideous..... Idk they need to rethink designs on some of these vehicles. Of course I don't even care for the new chargers look. That price is real salty as well. Interested in seeing what the Z06 C7 can do tho
Too much of an upgrade to a lower end car at too high a price.
