I bought my first one at 29, so do I suffer from premature midlife crisis syndrome? Is there such a thing?

I will say there is a Bar/restaurant near here where older married men go to hit on the "way too young for them" waitresses and the parking lot looks like a corvette dealership. Inside it's all Tommy Bahama shirts and anchor medallions. I don't actually think the Viper is a midlife crisis car. Too few of them, takes effort to find a good one, concerns about where to get them worked on. I think the other cars are more indicative of the typical midlife crisis. If you believe in such things.

Now as far as which cars are most phallic, well...

Apparently Vipers have a "...sleek body suggest a jungle cat ready to pounce..."

    Good job Hagerty.

Lol I got my Viper for my 30th bday (thanks hun) so ya, I've got that premature midlife crisis thing too I guess. I don't think that they are a midlife crisis car. They are a dream come true car!

I got my first viper at 31.
That only came about cause a friend offered to swap trade his viper with my E39 M5. I didn't hesitate.

They say it was premature, hmmmm, seemed RIGHT ON TIME to me

Again, I'm not sure I buy the whole midlife crisis thing. When is it supposed to happen? 50? 55? As far as the Viper goes, I'm still gonna take the article as a compliment. It shows that it is desired and has a youthful appeal. As far as getting girls, well, I was so good at that before I had the car so I'm the wrong guy to ask if it helps. I'm always getting attention from the college girls. They are always pointing me out to their friends and saying things like "see, him, yeah that's the one who had the mirrors on his shoes"
