Supposed to run 93 but I think Mark J. said you can run 91 as long as you are not flogging it.

It will run 91 if you cant get 93 for a fill but if you want to be safe and get best results run 93

Additionally you'll know by the sound of the decel popping.

Good to know. Thanks guys. I guess the thing you woulnd't know on a used on is if it had an Arrow PCM in it at one point in the past and then was switched back to stock. Kinda sucks when looking at used ones and not knowing.

You may be able to have a dodge dealership look the car up by the VIN and let you know. It has to be installed at a dodge dealership so it should be in the computer.

Any techs on here that can help figure out what to look for in the ECU when buying a used Viper? I am assuming some print outs could be used by sellers to ensure buyers the car is stock!

93 octane is what they say. I only have 91 up here in Alaska. I make 94+ octane with Torco High Octane Accelerator - Race Fuel Concentrate. I buy it buy the 32oz can. Viper fuel tank is 15 gallons. So at 20 gallons its +4 on the octane scale. So, I its actually higher than 94 octane.

    The Decel pop is awesome!!!!
