IMO the gen 2 viper body needs not be touched, it is perfection.

they both look good to me, though I have always been a big fan of wings/spoilers (now if somebody could make a Decent looking wing for the RT/10's, everyone I've ever seen LOOKS like a Bolt on & not something that looks like it came on the car) jmo. Steve yours does seem like it fits a lil' more snug, the Gen V one seems to have a lil' bit of air under there!

I also think that the OEM gen2 look (and gen1 look for that matter) are near perfection. Great body lines, curves, and overall amazing design. The spoiler you put on is a very slight mod and it doesnt change much. I think it looks good...just my 2 cents

I was one of the first one to get these from AutoFoam. Here's a video of the spoiler on my car.

    and a pic.

I know people will ask for more car pics so i'm including one without spoiler.

I was one of the first ones too, but my car didn't catch on fire.

I think you need to get your car checked out, it must not be running as it should be...

I hate to defend Dave but his splitter wasn't too bad. It's probably much stronger than the splitter he is replacing it with. It'll be interesting to see how long that one lasts.

To be honest, I've heard good things about Dave's splitter too. Just didn't appreciate his Pep Boys comment (and I'm sure Steve from Autoform wouldn't have appreciated it either).

Now, if it was compared it to Autozone instead of Pep Boys, that'd be a different story.

Most of his posts are unappreciated, but he has nothing better to do than put others down like a pathetic highschool bully. I actually feel sorry for him.

I really don't have any good photos of one that is painted and striped...we have probably only done 5 or so that way...most are Satin Black...quite a few Carbon ones as well.

Dave just purchased one of our Bolt on splitters and has purchased other Autoform products as well...so...I feel like he likes a few things I do.
This really is a tough line of work...I need thick skin...which I don't always have....there are a lot of different tastes and age group styles and trends to appeal to.
I agree that the OE lines of the GTS are perfect...and I take that to heart when making new parts... It may be hard to find someone with more passion for the Viper than me...I have invested all of my money and time into products for this car and the Viper group for more than 20 years....yes...this is all I do everyday...all day.
When I first created my hardtop for the GenI...back in 93...my design goal was to make it so that people thought it was OEM...which I did accomplish. Many of the top people at Viper purchased the top and other parts from me...including Bob Lutz.
I still strive for that compliment of "it looks factory'" with all of my products...along with making them easy for the end user to install with minimal damage to the original car surface...so removal of our products is easy. Not that I ever expect people would take them off...I am always humbled when I go to Viper events and see all of our products on cars...a lot of the new owners don't even know that their car didn't come that way from the factory....and when I introduce myself...they don't know who Autoform is...I need to work on that...

Steve - can't say enough about the quality and design of your products, and for having the thick skin that you do in this line of business. Thanks for all that you do!

Need to take pics of that spoiler with a 35mm camera. Cell phone pics dont have the proper depth of field.

    I like tho.

I just saw this TA style spoiler on a sapphire gen2 gts this weekend at a cars and coffee. I can confirm the quality. Looks very good!
