2015 SRT - ARH and Corsa

I recently finished installing American Racing Headers w/ high flow cats and Corsa catback on my 2015 SRT.

Overall the install wasn't too bad. I did it on jackstands in my garage. The driver side was very easy. I removed the valve cover and had tons of clearance! I also installed the fuse box cover from Woodhouse.
The passenger side was a little more of a struggle. I did not lift the motor or remove the valve cover. I probably should have to help remove the stock manifold, but too late now The ARH slipped in with no issues.

Connecting the lower pipes was a struggle by myself. It would help if someone was able to hold it up from underneath whole installing bolts from the top but I got it done. I made a "special tool" to help tighten all 6 bolts. I got a 12pt 3/8 wrench and used a hammer to bend it at an angle. With that I was able to reach all the bolts not accessible with the ratchet and socket.

Here is a short video and low RPM revs. I'll get a driving video soon. Ive had lots of cars with headers/no cats (Camaros, Mustangs, etc) but this is LOUD! At WOT the Corsa is very raspy. I'm wondering if I should have gone with the ARH catback. And may eventually swap to it, but I'm happy for now.

I'm trying to figure out how you did the passenger side without lifting the engine or removing the valve cover! I just had to R&R my passenger side ARH and I could not for the life of me get it out without doing both of those things.

Did you heat shield your O2s? It's not if but when something will melt with headers.

Is a tune needed to fully utilize the headers and cat back?

Here is the lifesaver. A 1/4" socket, swivel and extensions can reach half of the bolts, but this was needed for the rest.

I don't think I'd recommend it.. lol The lifting/removal is only needed for getting the stock manifold out. And I did scratch it up some by dragging it across an ear on the block. Again, I don't recommend it, but nothing was broken. Hah. Also, the motormounts have enough give that you can push the motor a little bit for clearance and wiggle the damn thing out.

I wrapped EVERYTHING. I got DEI Titanium spark plug boots and had 4 left over, so I used those on the o2 sensors. Along with a lot of DEI tubing and tape. I removed the rear O2s since they are turned off anyways and plugged the holes.

Maybe, maybe not. I have an Arrow PCM waiting to go in.

Smart to remove the rear O2s and plug them.

I bought a ratchet wrench that had a flex end on it, it worked just like your improvised tool and agree it's the ONLY way to reach some of the bolts from the bottom.
