Honoring 9/11 Heroes Cruise on Saturday 9/10 Every Viper is welcome! 15th Anniversary

Looking for a record number of Vipers this year !

    http://driveviper.com/forums/threads...per-is-welcome

The event is a cruise in NJ and Manhattan that will come down the West side and wrap around the Battery and end up downtown a few blocks from the 9/11 Memorial.

This will take place on 9/10/16 NOT THE 11th. This is logistically the only way to do it. The 10th is a Saturday this year.

In years past, we have had 30 cars or more participate. For the 15th Anniversary, let's set some records!

Please post up if you are interested. We need to start getting an idea of head count for sponsors.

911 Cruise Update from Bobby Cerchione:

    9-11 Respect Cruise for TuesdaysChildren.org

On September 10, 2016, Dodge / Srt Viper Owners will participate in the 15th annual 9-11 Respect Cruise in Honor of PAPD Officer Lt. Robert Cirri and others who gave all to save lives of those in harms way, as well as those who continue to be impacted.

The cruise will start in the parking lot of the Subway located at 10 Meadowlands Parkway, Secaucus, NJ 07094.
We will leave by 8:45am in a respectful procession led by local Police along with NYNY PAPD and NYPD.
Our first stop will be on West 34th Street where we will pick up the NY members. I will have a drivers meeting on 34th street with NYPD to explain the route and the importance of RESPECT. We will then proceed to Ground Zero and park our cars in the Batterey Tunnel Parking lot. All attendees can then walk the memeorial and pay respect. Afterwards we will all leave downtown and cruise back uptown to lunch. (Restaurant to be determined)

This year we have partnered with www.TuesdaysChildren.org.

Tuesday's Children was founded to promote long-term healing in all those directly impacted by the events of Tuesday, September 11, 2001. Their mission today is to KEEP THE PROMISE to those children and families while serving and supporting communities affected by tragedies worldwide.

We are currently looking for a title Sponsor and other levels of Sponsorship. If you or your company are interested please contact myself or Denean Paulik at denean@tuesdayschildren.org or by phone at (212)332-2980

We must not forget that horrific day and we must not forget those directly impacted!

    LET"S HELP KEEP THE PROMISE!
LET'S MAKE THIS YEAR THE MOST ATTENED EVER!

It looks like we will have around 40 Vipers or so for this. Still time to get in on the action.

I will be leaving from the Olive Garden at the outer edge of the Rockaway Mall on Rte 80 at 7:00-7:10 for anyone coming that way who wants to cruise to the Meadowlands together. Please let me know if you are interested in that ?

Here are the instructions from Bobby:

Cars should arrive around 7:30 to 7:45 at the Meadowlands just to give us time to hand out decals and apply them and to have a short drivers meeting.
We leave at 8:45 and should be in NYC by the Javits center by 9:10am
Then we head down to ground zero where we will park in the Battery Park Garage self park

IMG_1423.jpgIMG_1426.jpgIMG_1427.jpgIMG_1429.jpgIMG_1430.jpgThanks to Bobby C. for putting on a great event. We had a great turnout. He was able to get our whole group into the 9/11 Tribute Center and a guided group tour of the memorial. Very moving to hear first hand accounts from people that were there.
