It's for old people- I need to be able to see without my readers.... (yes, I said it - READERS....)
We're trying not to kill our webmaster in the first week. Anything is possible (and i do understand the customization preference) but it might take a while to get everything 100% done...

I actually like the brighter UI. It seems to be a little happier if that makes sense.
But yeah, a lot of people are just used to the black backgrounds so eventually choices would be great... but I like this one as-is.

Toss me in the "i like the old club" style.
This one is too bright and alley is too dark for my tastes.
