"Good deal" depends with MSRP.
There aren't a slew of well configured ACR's out there. Want one today and maybe you'll get a decent deal below MSRP. Every ACR they've had seemingly has gone quickly.
For one you have to wait 4 months on, I'd expect some break on pricing.
Lol!! I probably bought and sold more cars in the past 2 years than you have in your lifetime.[/QUOTE]
ROTFLMAO. This is exactly the kind of pompous and arrogant comment that so well represents the attitude that leads to all those stereotypes some folks have about owners of nice cars. " I can afford to buy more cars than you", ha, that's rich. All I read was I am a pompous ass that can buy multiple cars, just can't quite afford a VOA membership or bring myself to even list my location in my profile.
I'm done with this one, but do take some pleasure in noting your dealer bashing is finding little fertile ground here.
I make threads that deliver!!
Not for nothing but Im not sure stating that a dealer sells vehicles at MSRP is "bashing."
Not even sure if stating that buying at MSRP is getting rooked would be "bashing."
I do agree that if someone finds 4 other ACRs at invoice then why keep looking?
I bought my Gen 4 from Bernie.
Was he the cheapest around?
No.
But he had the car I wanted when I wanted it.
Grab all the cheap deals yall say are out there now. Because in time your gonna pay the piper when they arent any much left for this term
I've known Andy for years and have done business with him in the past, I would not hesitate to do business with him again if the numbers made sense. Honestly I think its worth a little more money to do business like that.
I bought my car from Sean O'Grady at Palmer Dodge, the big internet dealer. He was incredibly helpful, sold me the car at invoice and kept me in the loop as much as he could the entire time. I really felt he went above and beyond to help me get the car I wanted with the options I want, while not trying to up sale me at all. He also has a white 2016 1 of 1 ACR Extreme available right now...
I've never personally done any business with Bernie, but have tried in the past and couldn't get what I considered "good" money for my trade ins. Lambo G and Gen4 Viper. Ended up selling both privately, but I understand he is in the business to make money, not give away cars. Whats the point in doing that?
I wouldn't hesitate to do business with any of the options above if push came to shove, we as the Viper community should be thankful to have so many awesome places to buy from.

What a contradiction in your post. First you state it must be nice for those that can go to a dealer and buy a Viper without worry of cost like you do corn flakes in a grocery store. When your ego gets hit you say you bought and sold more cars in two years than the poster has in a lifetime. If true, you have taken depreciation hits bigger than any hold back money from so many transactions. You sound ridiculous.
Finally, everyone needs to chill on all the price talk. If you buy the car for a long time a few grand doesn't matter in the scheme of things. Secondly, if you walk into a dealership and even pay msrp but don't have to wait 4 months I'd say that's worth it right there. Finally, if you are so concerned about deals that those thoughts ruminate through your head all day go buy a lower tier car. For many on here we bought gen V brand new with crazy depreciation so whining about a few grand sounds so ridiculous. Life's too short to get wrapped up in the details. The car is a steal as is. The base SAT has 98% of the ACR performance out of the box and 98% of upgrade options to improve aero. Every single model of this car is a steal. The interior, exterior and performance are on par with 300k+ exotics but at a fraction of the cost since it says dodge and not some Italian horse.

1st of all Iam not the one that was talking about corn flakes. Corn flake.
Another thing is if you DONT BUY YOUR CARS FOR MSRP you can and will sell them with equity or break even if you buy the right cars at the right time. Matter of fact when I do buy my 3RD Gen V I will gladly sell it to you for a great price after I have my fun with it for a year maybe while i put some money back in my pocket.
I have a Porsche GT4 that i didnt pay sticker for and will sell it to you for a $120,000 or best offer. See how that works if you were to pay my asking price I will put $25,000 in my pocket. The above statement may not make sense to you if you are not familiar with the Porsche market.

Soo...
I just want to know where I can order a 17 ACR for invoice.. Palmer sounds like 1 place..
Anyone else?
If I'm reading this right and may offer a summation....hova00 is saying try to get the best price you can when buying a new car.
Let me write this revelation down and just say THANKS as I've been doing it all wrong. Inspired post!

Thank you John N. You totally saved me from having to write almost the exact same thing. Nice job!!!!
I like the white ACR from Palmer but my white T/A had some major yellowing in the door jam area from heat after 700 miles. I don't know if it is normal and really don't want that to happen again.
It's great to see Palmer offering cars at a good price.
I don't know if Palmer is a forum sponsor but their prices sure do kill Viper Exchanges (forum sponsor) MSRP only deals. What a way to take care of their own.

Palmer, yes, I talked to Grapevine and they were talking invoice, I didn't get into detail so not sure how good for it they are, but they didn't seem to balk. Is there anyone who won't? VE was the only one I talked to who kept quoting MSRP, but again I don't know what the deal was there and I'm not poking them, I know 2 guys I trust told me they had literally just ordered from them at that - or competitively, they ask everyone to not quote their deals.
I have 2 dealers local that will do invoice ordering on ACR's or any model, they do want a chunk of change down to make sure they don't get stuck with the car, non-refundable, but built them on the computer and sales manager approved, so they're solid. Have you called Bill P at Woodhouse? He is the most amazing dealer I've ever talked to, and he's competitive, which is all they really ask you to say about that, tell him what deal you want and the car specifics, he'll build it for you on the computer, go over details, he's absolutely awesome and if you can't get that deal from him, I'd be shocked. Finding invoice isn't the challenge, I think it's more of dealing with a good dealer who can get the car done right and to you properly as well, you'll need some good deposit money, dealers got royally screwed in the early years losing money on vipers and they aren't shy about it, if they know they have "loss" money down, guys around here seem fine with ordering, although not all, I have talked to 2 that said they'd never buy/sell/or trade a viper again, lol. I'm now selling, thinking about ordering myself, once I figure out my total budget with my other speed addictions, if I do I want to order in the fall for a post-winter delivery.
Ease up on Viper Exchange - have bought plenty of cars VE is in business to make money if you have a problem with that go ahead and call every Dodge dealer.
Eventually you will learn it's better to communicate in private as you do not value your or VE time.
Made one call to VE - great deal expert service and communication they 100% take care of those who take care of them.
Yellowing door jam - too easy and will bite my tongue!
After reading hova00's posts, I assume he acts like this on the phone - no wonder Viper Exchange wouldn't back off pricing to him - some customers you just don't want, ever.
It actually went like this
Me: Hi Iam interested in an ACR How much will you sell for.
VE: Iam only selling at MSRP.
Me: Ok thanks have a nice day.
All the pissed off people in this thread phone call went like this
Them: Hi Ism interested in a Viper. How much?
VE: MSRP
Them: OK
