    Thinking about going 2017

I'm debating trading my ACR in for a 2017. This time I'm strongly considering doing the heads/cam deal. Also this time, Ill be trading in my 03 Cobra (which is kind of painful) in on her. Already spoke to John Gastman who is working on some numbers. Decisions, decisions...

Your '16 won't be worth any less than a '17. Unless you are just wanting a color/options change, I'd suggest just modifying your current one.

Do it. I sold my 04 Cobra not long after I bought the GTS. After I had the Viper, I never drove the Cobra as they competed for the same driving time and our driving seasons aren't that long here. It was hard at first, but I don't even think about it anymore.

Edited...if you have a 2016 ACR now, wondering why you would want to spend the $ on a 2017?

Would you be changing the color and spec etc? If so makes sense but it's pointless if you're looking for residual value...won't be any future difference between a 16' or 17'

That will be at least the second 17 ACR-E, GTS-R Blue/White Stripes that John G. is ordering....................I was waiting to see what special editions were going to be offered before making my final decision. Now that that they have been released, still going with this combo.

Why would anyone buy a car from Viper Exchange since they want MSRP for their cars while you have other dealers that are selling at invoice is beyond me. The money saved could potentially pay for the head and cam package.

simple, cause they don't want to wait 4-6 months on a car.

..... Good suggestion.... best of both worlds: make it whatever color you want and protect the existing paint for the long term.
unless you want to change up the interior..?

That is not true. Iam currently shopping for another Gen V and have found 4 in stock ACR Vipers for invoice.

I bought my ACR-E from Viper Exchange and most definitely didn't pay close to MSRP. Bernie was great to work with. And I know for a fact another guy here on LI did the same. The other big name dealers wanted MSRP. VE also usually has the most in stock. They had exactly the car and colors I wanted.

That is not what Viper Exchange just told me last week. Their exact words were that they sell all ACR-E's at MSRP. If that is not true then let them clear things up.

Btw, mow much of a discount off MSRP did Viper Exchange give you?

Then why are sitting here bitching about pricing? There should already be a car in your garage and you sbouldnt care what dealers are sellkngfor.
