    1994 Viper Electrical Issues

I'm having an issue that the 25 amp, Cigar/High beam fuse opens as soon as the high light switch is pulled to turn on the head lights. The fog lamps do not illuminate when the switch is turned to the on position. I have replaced the fog light switch, the head light dimmer switch and swapped the fog lamp and head lights relays (located on the driver's side left side). Has anyone had a similar problem or recommend a possible solution?

Possible light switch itself is bad. Not uncommon problem. Check switch for burned contacts.

I'm with SNKEBIT as headlight switch itself tops my list. On a Gen I, headlight switch on with dims...add fogs with console foglight switch...then hit brights with stalk and fog go off...which is normal on U.S. cars.

Just replaced the headlight switch. As soon as the knob is pulled the fuse pops. Has to be a short somewhere. Has anyone been behind the dash panel?
