I got bored at work this morning.

And since there is only two of us in the building, I got creative.

One of the gentlemen who I work with seems to be the 'victim' of jokes. So I removed the wood door of his office and zip tied a gated door and closed it in place, with some creative signs and props. His last name is Larson.

Off the stairwell on the second floor

    Left side of door

    Right side of door

    Missing door

    View into his office

    The door I removed

Always be careful around bored tech support groups. We can be easily amused.

That great! Once I got bored and we rearranged the all of the cubicle panels into a maze on one floor that housed my developers. My cubby was at the far corner of the floor. Getting to it through the maze was time consuming if someone didn't know the correct turns. It served two purposes: it gave my guys an opportunity to have some fun and, more importantly, it cut down on the number of walk ups I used to get from the users. Nobody bothered to visit us anymore. The maze was up for a very long time. We got bored with it after a while and started pranking folks by completely enclosing the cube in walls. If someone went out to lunch on any given day it was guaranteed their cube would become inaccessible while they were out.

I'm thinking of putting a wood floor in mine. A nice birch laminate.

I honestly figured your place of employment was already set up that way.
