Chris Harris drives gen V ACR

Just saw the trailer for the new Top Gear web series with Chris Harris and it appears as though he is finally behind the wheel of a new ACR. Most likely the same one that was on the show this season I would assume.

It would be great to finally hear his thoughts since it often sounds like he is asking for a car with characteristics that match an ACR-E closely.

Nice. Now lets hope its set up properly for what ever track he will be running it on so that he can experience the full potatoes the ACR has to offer or else we might not like what we hear.

Hope I'm wrong about him, but if its not made in Germany I would not hold my breath for an unbiased report

We don't need Chris Harris to validate the performance of a Gen V Viper !

    My thoughts exactly...

If you watch his videos, it is everything he would want in a car, well minus a Porsche badge.

That's probably true, but I enjoy his videos because unlike the majority of journalists, he can really drive. I don't say that after watching him slide about as he likes to say but after watching him compete in many serious multiclass endurance races on world renowned racetracks.

I can tell you what happens already.

He gets in. Comments on the interior being improved. He drifts it a few times for some nice camera shots. Says it's better but still not all that refined. He then gets out and jerks off on a Porsche.

Wonder what his comment will be?

Clarkson called the car a Sledge Hammer!

Carrot top called it a Crowbar!

    Harris......?

Harris will be 95% or above.

The car does exactly what a drivers track car should do - NA V10 proven performance numbers.

He may make a few comments about a few things that mean nothing but at the performance level and price he will be impressed.

Yes. He had ordered the GT3RS then sold it 6mo later for a 599

Anecdotally, I feel journalists from the U.S. are harder on the Viper than international journalists. He may just fall in love with it.

Hahaha Awesome, that's funny as hell!

I also tend to think you're right... but it is at least positive that Top Gear would give additional time to the Viper... that first episode didn't have any serious driving content.
