That's awesome - 8 in the top 20 for now!! Last year our event was earlier in the season (less competition logged) and we had 5.

I think Tony is right, the time-to-beat will come down and a few of us (me) will be bumped out, but we've put a HUGE bite in the list.

You got a lot faster than last year... one more practice run through those neighborhoods in New Orleans and you'll be 19.00 :-)

I couldn't make the Viper event, but I'll be heading up for the one on Saturday 9/17 1:30 (also a 9am session). Probably bringing my 911 but might bring the Viper... 911 is relaxing now after the vintage festival races, fighting off 500hp cars was tough though I qualified 3rd out of 35.

Hope to see some Vipers there!!!

I wound up going to the "Sandlot Showdown Top 25" event today. I had my best time despite the cold with an 18.94 which I am hoping is good for the Shootout on the 29th.

the weather was perfect for it this saturday. Hopefully it will be like that again on the 28/29th !!! It's been down in the high 30s some years, that gets interesting haha.
