The replacement engines re use the stock throttle bodies so the PCM in the car will work fine as it and the programming for different throttle bodies was all that changed.

Go to the SRT Performance pages. Is the battery showing >14 volts? If not I would suspect the alternator is not working or hooked up properly. Also they had to relearn the TEC (Tooth Error Correction) or you will get misfire codes.

My '13 PCM worked fine with a '16 swap. I did have to take it back to the dealer to "relearn" as the first relearn process they did didn't work correctly.

Ah, must've been one of the earlier speculative discussions, I think it was more focused on whether the Arrow PCM would carry over to the new engine or not anyway, or I truly am delusional, as usual. LoL. Thanks for clarifying with a real world example. Sounds like your swap went well considering, so hopefully the OP situation is quickly remedied and good to go also.

They are waiting for the new pcm to be delivered. Chrysler instructed john to change the pcm but if that does not work then he feels it's the alternator. John's a good guy, he apologized many times and is working hard to rectify the problem.
They gave me a challenger loaner car to use, unfortunately not a SRT. It's pretty comfortable but feels really big.

Unfortunately there are always unknowns, even to an experienced Tech like him. He always works hard to make things right regardless. He had to fight a several battles with my car due to the poor condition it is in and still is trying to get all the issues sorted.

Hope the new PCM takes care of your issue and has you back on the road issue free soon!

They changed the Pcm and it did not fix the problem so they changed the alternator and that took care of it.
John felt it was the alternator before and he was right. Put about 150 miles on so far and no issues yet.
Even with this minor hiccup, I'm very satisfied and impressed with the whole process and their Viper tech, John.
I plan to have him do any future warranty work if needed.

Great thread. Thanx for all the effort you put into this. It sounds like things are back on track for you and the car. Enjoy!!!!

Thanks! Hopefully I won't be posting anymore on this thread. Can't wait until the engine is broken in!
SRT/Chrysler did give me a 5 year maxcare extended warranty for my car because of what happened. That was a very nice bonus!

That's pretty awesome that they did that for you. I think that is a good way for them to thank you for being patient
