Someone reach out to the new owners and let them know we have our event there. It might influence the team naming. Old Time Muscle for Old time Hockey!

Well if you meet up with the Texas, Illinois and Colorado club for part of that trip to Las Vegas, I guarantee those last few miles will go by extremely quick, thus improving your trip time. Ha! Ha!

Vegas Golden Knights. They are not using "Las."

The name was chosen over Silver Knights and Desert Knights. Vipers didn't make the finals. It would have been nice.

Yah, saw that. "Golden Knights" in the "silver" state. Stupidest fricken name and bunch of corporate BS since the Corporation has Knight in it's name. Such a stupid name, can only hope the team fails quickly. Can't believe they picked such a dumb name for a professional hockey team. I really hate corporations, especially with an ego like that one.

That sucks! Vipers would be a way better name. I love hockey. I played college hockey and would give my tickets out to people (girls usually, cause duh) but people would tell me they didn't know the game well so they thought they would be lost and I said just go, you will have a good time. And they inevitably did and not just because of the superb goaltending, ahem. Live hockey is a blast even for first timers. It doesn't translate to TV as well as football does though. But in person, hockey is awesome. College or pro.

Agree! Hockey coverage in Canada does a much better job of televising the game to make it exciting. Forward (center, left wing for me) with 'AAA', major junior and semipro (drafted), then Canadian University under my belt decades ago. Should have aligned with WHL and the Calgary Hitmen. Las Vegas Hitmen would have been awesome. Golden Knights is as bad as Mighty Ducks! Mega corporations do not belong in Hockey!!!!!

I thnk "Golden Knights" I think West Point, USMA. But I suppose not everyone does, especially that far from the east coast.

That's cool you played that far. I could see the writing was in the wall for me that as a goaltender as I was just good enough if I busted ass I could dick around in the WCHL for a little bit but I knew it would end there and how long it would even last was anyone's guess. So after a few years at the college level (and an injury slowing me down) I hung up the skates. I used to have dreams about stopping pucks though till I was about 25. : ) I'll still have one on occasion.

Yeah, I haven't been on skates in over a decade and have since lost a leg. It would be quite a tournament : )

Im sure if they are up and running we could get an event with them.
