    Thanks for posting!
    I have physically felt the underneath the factory carbon fiber version of the X-Brace and it's "hollow" underneath.
    The top sides of the brace curve down at angle, but they do not touch/connect so the piece is NOT a solid tube so I have wondered about the stiffness..
