Thread: Falcon F7

    Falcon F7

Very impressed with what I see. Like the Viper, handmade in the Motor City. Exterior styling inspired by the Ford GT; Engine & suspension are based on the Z06 and the tranny is based on Audi/Lamborghini. The interior reminds me of the craftsmanship in my friend's Spyker.

They only plan to make about ten annually which is really exclusive. Four year factory warranty though not sure if you're limited to Detroit for warranty service.

    Thoughts?

That's Jeff Lemke's, he's known in the Viper community.

    Thanks, Guys.

The car is a lot of fun. The cars start at $139,000 with over 500 h.p. (620 for an F7, or an optional twin turbo set-up at 1,400 h.p. ) and several hundred pounds less than a Viper. They're also getting very refined and have a Viper/Ford Gt persona. The new interior is pretty sweet and I'll post pics of it in a couple days.

At any price I would be all over that before one of the Pasta Rockets. Amazing that you did that on your own. Maybe someday, but that day isn't today. Beautiful machine.

    Car is spectacular !!

What about registration at DMV ??

What is it registered as ? Just wondering ...

    Thank you.

The cars come with a standard title from Falcon. These are issued via component registration. Certain states (california) require a de-tune of engine to pass emmisssions.

Going for full federal certification is not justified at 10 cars per year. The process cost several million dollars and it's not justified. That would make the cars cost over 500k. I'm going the route of Pagani in that I'm investing in building a great car (although they do not cost $1.3 million) and leaving full certification for bigger manufacturers. The people that truly understand what the car is don't seem to have a problem with that.

I submitted an inquiry on line & Jason responded (same day) with detailed responses to my questions!

I think it looks & sounds great and I value exclusivity so I'm potentially a candidate for an order.

That's great. Looking to get another handful of orders this January.

For what it's worth - I've seen this car in person and pictures do it no justice. It is simply phenomenal.

    Lookin' good !

Yep, freekin' awesome car. The only bad thing about it is that now Jeff doesn't make the cool things for Vipers anymore.

Is that a targa top or T-Tops?

  21. #21
That is pretty sweet! Would love to see one in person some day.

Will this be shown at Detroit Auto Show later this month?

  23. #23
Yes. We'll be very busy this month showing cars. First, the new version of the car will be displayed at the exotic MGM grand event in Detroit, then moved to the cobo concourse for the daily parades so the general public can see it.
At the same time, the car shown here is being shipped down to Scottsdale Arizona Barrett Jackson event. It will be displayed in the DuPont registry booth. I'll will be there while the rest of our team will be handling the Detroit event.

The 2014 car in Detroit is a customer car that they will see completed for the first time. The titanium car is our 2013 demo car that we will have for sale.

Just to clarify, what looks good? The high heeled pilot of that millennium Falcon or the car itself?
I would guess you were referring to both?
