Let's hope for dry weather
So far we have :
MADMAX, Blue / white GTS, mods include Gen 3 Heads, Custom Headers and I'm sure a few other bits I don't know about
Viper Baz, Yellow / Black RT/10, Roe Supercharged.
OXAM, Yellow RT/10, Headers and .....? Not sure of other mods?
Neilsfishing, Gen IV ACR, Black Red stripe.
Myself 2000 Creampuff, Fast Red / Silver ALMS 92 Replica, K&N cone air filters, metal intake tubes, stock headers, 3" Belanger fully de-catted exhaust system
I will get a list of full mods on the day and post up the results
Mark.
Baz is out It might be raining and he does not want to get the Yellow car dirty
Just Kidding mate
(sadly work commitments)
Well sadly it really was a wet day Not all the cars that were planed to take part made it due to the weather
Neil was due to Dyno his GenIV ACR but after returning home from Vacation found his insurance had expired, so Neil rode shotgun with me
As we also know Baz dropped out earlier in the week, this left myself Max and Adrian representing the UK Viper nation.
Then another Hitch, due to me lowering the car with caps earlier in the year I could not get my Viper into the garage, yet alone onto the Dyno due to slopes and ramps So in the end it came down to two Vipers. Max with his 2002 Gen II RT/10 and the UK Pres Adrian, with his 1996 Gen II GTS which has been fitted with 345 Rear diff and Gen 3 Heads and custom exhaust system.
I know Ade took lots of video of the event so he may well post it up
Flywheel figures were
Oxam – (Max) 2001 Viper RT/10 – 483.7 BHP
Madmax (Adrian) – 1996 Viper GTS – 581.7 BHP
Both N/A cars no superchargers, Max had had some electrical gremlins with the 02 sensors but we reset the warning codes with a OBD2 scanner
Two wet Vipers
Cheers Mark

Is that BHP brake Horse power or just a UK thing?
Mark sorry about your car. Here is your car when it was only a year old. I was curious to see how much stronger it was now.

Don't know if you can read the dyno graph, but it was 414.4 max power and 448.8 torque.

Yes that's Max Brake Horse Power at the Flywheel I believe? I know a lot of you guys quote RWHP.
Sorry to say I'm not all that sure how a Dyno measures the Power and Torque I'm not that technically minded. The dyno used was made by Dyno Dynamics
Here's a link to the company we used

Hope that helps!
Wow, thanks for that Brad, I've been in the garage today cleaning the car, I have to pinch myself its mine, every time I open the garage door I say wow to myself
I have been on the same Dyno before I lowered the car a few years back (2008)
Please check out the graphs below This is with the K&N cone air filters, Stock headers, factory cats and Bellanger 3" cat back system
