    Wheel Insurance?

    Guys
I live in pothole central USA otherwise known as NJ. My BMW M3 has very shallow tires (more so than the Viper GT I have) and at risk of trying to replace a tire and rim on my own dime each year, I bought 5yrs of coverage for $1500 for all tires and rims including the cost of deal paid powder coating (stock rim is silver and mine are dealer-option black).

Anyone living up north find that need for the Viper? I hate to crush on of my matte black sidewinders and try to find one and then get a tire.

As a disclaimer, I am not the guy who gets insurance coverage from Best Buy for my phone or ipod. Just the car since my boss who has a Porsche Panamera has crushed his rims 3 times in 3 years.

    Thoughts?
