    Wheel spacing

    Good afternoon all !! Yes I am new hear and hope I am doing this right lol, Here is my question, I have a 97 gen 2 with stock 17 wheels. I am about to lower the car just a small bit with Eibach springs. Then I am going to put a small set of spacers in and that is were my question comes in. Does anyone know what size spacers I would need to do the front and rear of the car with stock wheels?

    I have a 99 rt/10, I also lowered my car with the eibach spring kit, which make the car look and handle much better. I also was looking at the ispco wheel spacers to bring the wheels out to the edge of the fenders, i'm thinking the 3/8 would be the correct size spacers, hopefully someone has already done this and can help us out.

    Did you guys ever find a size spacer that brought the wheels out flush to the fenders?

    No replies back. Have since switched to gen 3 wheels and 345/19 & 285/18 tires. Not installed yet, but will determine from there if any other adjustments need to be made.

    JonB at parts rack sells the Ipsco spacers and he will know what spacer you need for the stance you desire.

    I was told that using wheel spacers could cause some problems. Meaning, if you get any play in them you could screw up your hubs or what not. Also, are they strong enough to with hold the torque should you get a good grip on take off. What if you added more power to the car....say 600rwhp. Would that be a problem with wheel spacers installed?

    The Ipsco spacers has to be put on with a hammer as they are such a tight fit around the hub.
    I've driven plenty of powerful cars with neither one of them with a good spacer as the ipsco one.

    I have some friends that run spacers on their TT Lambos.. cars that make well over 1100whp.. Zero issues
