Video: Nth Moto MoTeC ECU Rolling Anti-lag

We get a lot of questions about some of the steering wheel button control features of our Nth Moto MoTeC ECU partner package. One of the features that gets asked about frequently is regarding twin turbo launch control and rolling anti-lag. Thought this would be a good central place to put some info about how it works. It's extremely simple to use...

Launch control at the starting line of a race:

    - Depress clutch pedal
    - Press and hold the steering wheel Launch button
    - Apply throttle
    - Engine speed and boost will immediately go to and hold your desired targets
    - Release button simultaneously with clutch pedal to launch

    Rolling anti-lag for a side-by-side roll race:

    - Get to desired vehicle speed
    - Press and hold steering wheel Launch button
    - Apply throttle (engine speed and vehicle speed will hold perfectly steady at their current positions regardless of increased throttle input)
    - Boost will automatically and immediately go to and hold at your desired target
    - Release button to launch!

The beauty of our rolling launch feature is no longer having the requirement to brake boost a turbocharged car. When this feature is armed, ready, and you release the button, you better make sure to have a clean change of shorts for later!

Here's a really quick video of two tests on pump gas showing how easy it is to use. Watch how fast the software speedo starts to wrap as soon as that Launch button is released!

Many, many thanks to MoTeC for working with us on our Gen V Viper M1 ECU partner package! Users wouldn't have access to these incredible features without their awesome hardware, firmware, and software.

Perfection! You guys are so damn good at what you do. Your innovation always amazes me. This is what I want in a TT Viper!

Here's a good clip showing how instantly the rolling anti-lag feature comes up and how quickly the car launches and accelerates at the hit. We're using our AEM Infinity system on the red car below, but the effect is the same.

The limiter sound is the feature turning ON with a button push and OFF upon release to launch.

    Enjoy!

Motec is awesome, everyone knows that but I'm very impressed with what you have been able to accomplish with the AEM! Then again I am coming from a AEM V1. Lol

    Thanks guys! Really appreciate that!

Below is the 2-step launch control portion of the feature. Push in the clutch, hold the Launch button, throttle down, and the engine speed and manifold pressure instantly go to their desired targets. Simultaneously release the button and clutch to launch!

    Racetrack flame dryers are included.
