What oil are you using in your 2008-2010 Viper ACR?
I have a 2009 ACR and have been taking it to the dealer to get the oil changed and was just told it would be $229 for an oil change. I will be doing my own oil changes from now on.

I use mobil 1 15W-50 as per the acr supplemental manual.

Mobil 1 0W-40. It's one of the easier cars to do an oil change on. Just make sure you have a drain pan that can hold 11 quarts.
Go to Walmart they have the best everyday price on the oil and make sure you get the SRT filter from Dodge. Have you ever had the clutch fluid changed ? I make an adapter for this let me know if you want one you will need a Mighty vac to do this .
15/50- $46, walmart
SRT filter- $18

I am lucky, have a dealership I trust, been going to them for 10 yrs.
Gee , I think we are around 145 bucks and only the Viper Tech does the work , so .....................229 seems a bit much!!
We are using 0-40W Ultra Platinum Shell/Pennzoil , but we do fill some of the ACRs with 15-50W per customer's request.

Put the car up on the lift and doesn't look like it could get any easier. The filter and drain plug are right there.
Just ordered an 18 Gallon AIR OIL Extractor Vacuum Drain Pan on amazon for $300 and a SRT filter. Will change the oil this weekend.
Oil change isn't anywhere near that much, even if I buy the oil from the dealership. I think it's about half that.
If you have a lift though, you should be able to do it yourself fairly easily. As people said, just make sure you get the correct filter.
Need to be careful with the 15-50W and high revs while the oil is still cold. That behavior has been responsible for collapsing oil filters. Get it warm first... And quite frankly, unless you are tracking the car heavily, it can be argued that you would be better off with 0-40W for off-track driving.
Agreed, no real reason for 15-50W if not tracking, and frankly I always used 0-40W Shell/Pennzoil and never had any issues, but then I change the oil after two track weekends and always have. Always amazed at folks who track and don't change the oil for a full Summer or more when on the track. Cheap insurance in my mind.
