    Red face New RedXtreme ACR-E

Below are pics of the new RedXtreme ACR-E which I was able to pick up at the factory this week. I could not be happier with the car and I haven't had it over 80 mph yet as I am still in the break-in stage. Fit and finish are very impressive. Drove directly from the Conner Ave assembly plant to Clear Auto Bra Michigan in Plymouth, MI. Being from out of state, I chose them based on their location near the plant and telephone conversation with the owners, Larry and Jenn Millen. When I arrived, they were finishing a Porsche and even in direct sunlight you literally had to get a few inches from the car to see that any film had been applied. When I picked up my car, the first thing I did was check the mirrors out, since they are so hard to do. I told Larry that it looked like he forgot to do the mirrors and he said no they are done and he showed me the tiny seam. They use 4 separate pieces to do each mirror.
For those of you looking for clear bra installation in the Michigan or surrounding area, I strongly recommend them. They are nice people and did an excellent job.
The next day my son and I headed for home in the ACR and we were both impressed with the comfort of the car. The drive home was very smooth and enjoyable until we got about 2 hours from home and hit some hellacious thunderstorms. Put it in rain mode and decreased my speed as the Kumhos are no rain tire. Fortunately made it home without incident.
Looking forward to completing the break-in and getting the car on track where it was made to be!

Thanks guys. I traded in my 09 ACR which was a fantastic car in its own right for the new RedXtreme. I appreciate your comments.

Congrats! You're going to love the car more every time you drive it, but you probably already know that. Phenomenal machine in every way.

Holy Sheet, that's beautiful. You're gonna LOVE the Gen 5. Where are you in PA? I'm in West Chester. We may have met at the Beans show in Doylestown at on point. That show is next Saturday, but I'm most likely going to be in the office catching up.

Congrats on the new car! FWIW, I had my Track Pack car (no rain mode) on new Corsas on heavy rain on the PA Turnpike last weekend. No issues, just kept her 50-55, and she purred right along. These cars are OK in the rain, if you use common sense!

I don't like red, but there is no bad color for an ACR. She is a beauty

    Amazing!

Congratulations, that is a beautiful car!

Maybe rain on the first drive is like rain at a wedding; good luck.

I do like red, and swert Moses that is sexy. So sexy.

Congratulations on your new car. Enjoy it. I love the black and red. Did you leave it pure ACR or did you add back in some creature comforts?

Thank you guys for all the positive thoughts. I have a 2000 RT/10, hence the avatar, had an 09 ACR but the GEN V is in a whole different league. Really enjoying it and driving it when weather is good so I can get those break in miles completed and get it on track as Thetalonguy suggests. Blknblu, if I didn't get red, my next choice was blue with black center band and stripe.
Swexlin, I am between New Hope and Washington Xing in PA. Hope to see you guys on track at NJMP as soon after break in as possible. PM me if interested./

Very nice. I really like the colors. It looks like there is a red stripe on the steering wheel, is that correct?
