Hey everyone, I've introduced myself on the VOA Facebook page already but figured I should do the same here. I recently was lucky enough to buy my dream car which happens to also be my first Viper.
It's a 2008 ACR Hardcore in Venom Red. Im told of the 7 ACRs made in this color this was the only hardcore. The car is well known I'm sure as the previous owner was none other than Bill P. @ Woodhouse. He was great to work with and Im lucky to have called him by chance when I did just as this car came available for sale.
Bill had upgraded the car exactly as I would have since he ran the car in NASA TT1 trim which I plan to continue. My hope is to let my bank account recover over the summer and then hit the track starting in August with some open track days. As I get comfortable and learn the car the hope is to progress with NASA into TT1 at some point in the not too distant future. I have track experience in other cars and have done a few laps in a gen III Viper but never in anything this quick or capable.
I've been a Viper fanatic my entire life collecting most everything I could with a particular focus on ACRs and the factory GTS-R/GT3-R race cars. To have an ACR of my own hasn't even fully sunk in yet.
I'm part of a big Mopar family located in Macungie, PA. We have a nice little collection and in addition to the Viper I have a 1964 Dodge Polara with a Turbocharged 440 and a 2005 Dodge SRT-4 Neon. Both cars are highly modified and raced regularly at Maple Grove/Island Dragway.
Here is a picture of the car along with my father's SRT RAM.
I looked forward to meeting everyone at future events!
