Momentary Racing live race video - Sunday April 16

We are planning to stream race video from our car and our pit space, for the 6 hour race at the Ridge Motrsports Park tomorrow. It will be here:

    http://live25.westus.cloudapp.azure.com/pitbox1.htm

This is our first race with the Viper ACR, with the race entry supported by RB Performance Brakes.

We've had somewhat of a roller coaster experience in the last couple of days, with the stock fueling systems going through heat-related electrical issues, eventually rendering the car un-drivable - something that did not become a problem until a day before the race, in spite of 3 test sessions in the last month In the end, we completely re-wired the fuel pump at the track today, and the car finally started to run correctly, so we were able to do a little bit of aero tuning in the last few practice sessions today.

I will be leaving in a while to head for the Ridge. I hope you get things sorted out. It looks like a nice 75 degree day. Good luck in the race.

Very happy with performance of the new car, and, of course, the team.

1st place overall in 2 Hour Enduro Championship race, 2nd in class in the 6 Hour race, with the fastest lap time among all production-based cars.

After taking the checkered flag for the 2 hour race, and leading the field for another hour and a half, we dropped off 5 laps from the overall leader position, as we spent time in pits fixing heavily damaged front splitter extension. In an attempt to minimize further damage, we made an adjustment to splitter geometry, which made the car challenging to drive - yet both Keith and I kept making back the time, finishing 6 hour race on the same lap as race leaders!

We would like to thank RB Performance Brakes for support and technical advice - it was great not having to worry about our brakes for the duration of the race, and focus on other aspects of race strategy and performance instead.

Special thanks to Jon and Viper Parts Rack for continuing support of our efforts - and for bringing the other ACR to the race track - always nice to have that kind of company.

Several of us Viper friends came down and watched. We were hanging out with Jon B and he was keeping us posted. That car really hauls. It was amazing to see it eat up the other cars. Very nice results for the first outing. Thanks for the pit stop video.

Here's a capture of live video (FCY restart and reclaiming race lead for the 2 hour race). Apologies for slow frame rates and no sound - we had to change data provider for live streaming at the last moment, so quality was less than expected.

Absolutely impressive and big congratulations for such a brilliant result especially on the first entry of race.

We are proud of being able to provide our tech support to turn Momentary Racing's stock brake to endurance racing, and let's keep this spirit up for the final win.

    Best of luck!
