So I was at NJMP on Monday with my race car and my ACR (ACR's first track day) It was 95% race cars more of a test and tune for us to get ready for the race season
Took the Cup car out in the AM then the Viper was going to be in the afternoon.
After writing down on a piece of tape strapped to my leg the brake in procedures for the brakes (long list ) I beaded them for the track.I wasn't sure how the car would be with my track alignment . Well it was flat out awesome
It was very neutral and the brakes were amazing. I knew the car was fast but didn't know how fast until my buddy with a 997 Cup was out with me.(hes not slow and does podium) I had the Race shop owner that works on my race car as a passenger and we caught the 997 Cup . If I was on slicks with no passenger I know the car would be 2+ seconds faster . Insane
By the way I hold the 996 Cup lap record there at a 1:23.54 (no chicane) That's about what the ACR can run there
Its still a street car no where as tight and precise as my Cup car but still rewarding and Easy to drive on track.
