Has anyone spent the 10k on the conversion?

Been many months now since its been available as a mod.

    Just curious!

It's looks better in person ! Fwiw.

Interesting, I heard/read about the ACR being done but hadn't seen a pic.

I'd love to see a white, black, gray, or silver targa. I'd bet those colors would work really well with the removed roof, black weatherstrip, interior, etc., look, and make for awesome pics. The vid is definitely nicer than the pics, I do bet in person it's very cool.

I had the opportunity tio visit Andy Wheeler two Fridays ago while in TX. If you havent had the chance to meet him make it happen, he's a cool guy.

I saw the ACR Standard Targa that you all are referring to.

It looks pretty cool in person I must say. Workmanship was really good and all the paint lines lined up perfectly. I took a a couple of phone pics an attached them here.

How windy is it with the top off?

Man does this pic bring back memories of the old RT/10. This is the closest you will get to a modern RT/10.

Steve911 great meeting you too! My favorite part of the job is getting to meet forum/owners from out of state. I have that ACR in my shop right now finishing up the 18 speaker stereo upgrade. I'm getting our second Targa back today or tomorrow from Prefix. I'll take pics.

Love the Targa Conversion, hope to use it once Winter is over???? The winter that never ends!!! From what Prefix told me, they seem to have finished with the conversion due to lack of Gen IV parts for the build??? So there will only be a handful ever made??? Congrats to all that did it!!!!

I think you are referring to the convertible option

LoL, spending all my money racing this season, the viper has taken a serious back seat unfortunately, put all my snake plans on hold while I'm dealing with my racecar scenarios .... these addictions are a pain. But, would love to do it, my RT/10 was my fave car of all time, and that's really saying something.

I know you have a Targa but are your sure you are not referring to Medusa conversions. Those used a lot of GEN IV parts. I was not aware the Targa conversions used any GEN IV parts in them. If the factory does not kick out an actual convertible this next year for the final year, then I suspect the Targa top option will be in extremely high demand with a number of people on the fence then having it performed as the ONLY way to get some sunlight from above. I think it may be a great option but need a "in real life look" as the angles make it hard to really appreciate.

The Medusa is limited due to Gen 4 Tops , the Targa should be no problem.

I just returned from a Prefix open House , and you are correct TeamOrangeCrush the Targa option has a supply issue , and production will come to an end . My apologies .
