Speaker replacement

I have a blown speaker in the passenger door. I have the replacement speaker to install, but not sure how to remove the current one. Can anyone help? I am sure the trim is just clipped on but i am afraid i might break it without proper technique.

Do a search for speaker upgrade...I think a member in MD or VA said there was a hidden screw somewhere in the door behind a small plate...Not sure of the exact location.

IIRC there's a screw under the plate below the power window switches (gray plate), and on the 2015's there's a screw under the SRS Airbag plaque.

Curious why you aren't letting a dealer mess with it under warranty?

Because every experience at a dodge dealership is a disaster for me. Literally every single visit goes wrong. Even the one today to pick up the part was a mess. Speaker is under warranty. I live 45 minutes from the dealership. Called to see if i could pick up and install myself. 2 people said yes. Drove there and they said no.... i didn't leave without the speaker.

And... they did it again. I HATE DODGE DEALERSHIPS IN ST. LOUIS. i literally have one 2 minutes from my house and another 3 close by. They are completely incompetent. Now.... I drive 45 minutes to find more incompetence.

So I'm assuming they gave you the 6x9 for the 6.5 in the door?????

Yep.... buttoned it back up. Back to dealership she goes. This is my 5th dealership ive tried for service.... im out of options. I need to pick my dealership now like we need to pick the next president of usa.... The lesser of all evils.
