$118G's...... I called that guy over a year ago when I was looking to buy my SSG, and he never got back to me. I assume he wasn't ready to sell. Anyway, he also is selling a black 2003 vert for $65k!! Idk seems a tad HIGH (it's been for sale for a while and the SSG is in the background). Regardless, if someone really wants that SSG it's available

Tell you what.....even though its crazy high, the fact is that its nicer to see high numbers than lowball numbers. These Vipers are rare right out of the gate and they should be treated as such. Someone that really wants a certain year/color/model may have to start paying more since they don't have any choices. Its not like when you go on Auto trader and look for a Corvette and find 375 of them in the same color/same year/same equipment. That's when you have to start giving stuff away.

Anyway....I am glad to see some of these cars sell for top dollar. Maybe one of these days some of the low production cars will start doing what the Ford GT's have done for years ...and actually increase in value. I know....unlikely, but its a nice thought.

I talked to the former owner at TWS last weekend. He traded it for a new orange 2011 ZR1. His wife and he were both tracking their ZR1s.

Yes, I do agree with you..... And honestly if I hadn't found the one I own I pretty much had made up my mind that the next one I saw, so long as its in good condition, that I'd look into buying regardless of the price. The SSG, as well as a few other limited editions, are extremely hard to come by. However, that black 2003 convertible is what I truly meant was a bit crazy IMO
