Oh, after looking at it I think I know where - on 84 westbound there is a truck stop. I guess that is or is around exit 15 ? I'll be there a little on the early side.

UPDATE - Changing this rt84 spot by a few hundred yards...

I had said hang out on the entrance ramp, but I drove through there yesterday and the shoulder is really narrow... There is a park and ride lot at that same exit, just south of 84 on Lime Kiln Road.

STILL Rt 84 Exit 15 -- Now at the park and ride lot.

Hey I'll send you a text message also, but moving this spot to the Park and Ride lot off the SAME EXIT, just south of 84. Check the map I just posted also. The shoulder on that ramp is a little narrow if you get there early and end up waiting for us a while. I'll text S.D. also - I think he's meeting you guys there.

Thanks Tony, and the credit really goes to ACR Steve and the staff at Oakland Valley. thanks Steve for getting us back in their good graces :-)

oh no - did you get stopped after your gasoline break? I thought for sure someone was getting nailed as soon as we got on 84 and somehow that trooper let it go.

Allegedly, and hypothetically, someone got pulled over on the fng on-ramp of all places.

oh man... sorry to hear about such a hypothetical thing <grrrrr> you could have told the trooper you had a racing helmet and suit in the trunk, see how that goes :-)

And Here's a SLIDESHOW with a ton more images from the day - thanks again everyone for coming out!

Great day with lots of laughs. That's what the club is all about. Amazingly clean driving all day and even in that last race. I appreciated Andrew and Chuck not taking me out which I know they could have any time they wanted too

Tim that owns the place said we were the most fun group he's had up there and would love us to come back. You guys may not have know this but his dad who I first dealt with passed away suddenly a couple of weeks before the event. Our group lifted his spirits and he really enjoyed seeing us have such a great time.

    On a lighter note-
Those that participated in our original mayhem event 7+ years ago might remember the old owners son. He was the little kid with long hair that kicked our butts on track. They sold the track and moved to Europe to help there son with his racing career. Well I guess they did the right thing. He was just signed by HAAS racing as there F1 test driver . Insaneeeeee Those that don't know this is the only US F1 team . My prediction is this kid will be hired by somebody in the next year or 2 as there starting driver . It will be huge to have a US driver back in F1. If we had a US driver with a US team it will be an insane marketing opportunity for F1 . Talk about dreams coming true.

I had a blast on Saturday Great turnout and such a great convoy of Vipers on the way up there.

Thanks Steve for getting us in there. Glad to know that we're invited back.

On another note, I could have sworn I saw Chuck messing with the restrictor plate on hit cart.
