Good time to buy a low pro Jack!

Harbor freight is doing 25% off one item over Easter weekend if you get theri text messages.

As many of you know, there are a few hidden gems at that store ( in between all the junk) and the low profile floor jack is one of them. Many of us on here own them. It's one of the few jacks that get underneath our cars easily and works really well.

    Just a heads up.

I also know people have had good luck with their pancake air compressor for light duty. FWIW. Floor Jack is money though.

    http://t.harborfreight.com/2-ton-low....google.com%2F

There is a 3 ton model that is 1/4" higher when collapsed. Also a bit cheaper. 2 ton is plenty for our cars though. You can usually find their 20% coupons but if you get their text message coupons, they text you a 25% off on one item. I know that extra 5% isn't a ton but hey, money is money. I'm not sure how the text coupon works online though. I always go get this stuff in person cause I live maybe 20 minutes from one.

    Thanks ViperTony.

Those who have it know it's a hidden gem in that store.

Its not light weight though You would not be wanting to lift that in and out of the trunk of a Viper!

Good for the garage but not if you plan on driving to the track!

Read the fine print on that coupon. No floor jacks. I just tried to purchase online, coupon doesn't work on this jack.

No shit you don't want to drive around with it. Killer for the garage though.

Really? I didn't notice that. That sucks. They usually offer a 20% coupon in playboy or maxim that I have used on a floor jack in the past.

Sorry for not reading the fine print, fellas. My fault.

It does appear on sale though.

They're still worth it. I changed my oil today and made the job much easier having two low profile jacks. Simply can't beat them for occasional use.

If the 25% isn't allowed toward the purchase of floor jacks just find and use a 20% coupon. I get one in my Sunday paper and they're online. I have three of these jacks and they're worth it even without the coupons.

This...I think this 3 ton jack refers to its own weight. I've put it in my trunk a couple of times; not fun. However it's a great garage jack. I got mine on sale at around $80. I also bought the cross beam attachment to make jacking up the front or back quicker. It's good for oil changes and wheel changes, which I seem to do on a weekly basis.

Which part of "FLOOR JACK" was unclear? Of course you don't want it in the trunk. It would be a nightmare.

I bought mine at HF, picked it up at the store in the Viper! Was a bargain.

I was curious if the cross beam worked or not..

Yes, it works. I used it to jack up the rear of GenII fairly easily.

I may pick that cross beam up. On the Gen 3 there is that piece of the frame that goes across the rear, I think it would work well there, allowing Jack stands to go at the Jack points easily.

I was only letting folks know in case they thought it was an aluminium one
Our UK prez was at a HarbourFreight and I asked him to get me one if he could fit it in with his flight luggage! I think the plane would of had trouble taking off as this Floor Jack is solid steel!

I use one of these but even this is fairly heavy.

The other pain with my jack is how far those handles stick out. If you use the front jacking point on the Viper the handles are very close to the front wheel.

I have removed mine, makes it easier to work with.

Harbor Freight has the Rapid Pump Aluminum Racing jack on sale this week for $69.99. Great jack especially for track days. Coupon Code 41729916.

The one I was talking about was the aluminum one. And it is still pretty substantial. You wouldn't want to haul it around.

Hey thanks for the heads up. Will go check it out. Great needle in a haystack.
