Wednesday Start Time

I just noticed that buses leave the hotel on Wednesday at 6pm for the Welcome Party, and that Event registration ends at 5pm. My problem is that my flight doesn't land till 5pm, and then I won't get to the hotel till 6-ish. Do I need my credentials to get on the bus?
