    "Bad MF'r" 1 of 1 ACR E

I absolutely fell in love with the ACR E Billet Silver w Black Ctr Band/ Red driver Stripe release car back in September, I ordered from Woodhouse (Bill Pemberton) 10/15/2015 and she hit the ground in Ca. last Wednesday (3/9/2016). I am currently in the breakin stage of 500 miles (114 miles currently, breakin is total PITA), after having the previous Gens 1-5 all I can say is OMG did they nail it!!! The ACR is so much tighter, responsive and exhaust note seems different. If you are on the "fence" jump off and do a 1 of 1 exactly as you like.

Haha! I love it! Congrats Steve.

Darius and I are heading to Sears Point this Wednesday to tear it up, along with a couple GT3 friends and another with a brand spankin new Mustang GT350. Should be an epic day. After your machine is broken in, let me know if you'd like to venture up north to check out some of our tracks. Or we could meet in the middle at Buttonwillow.

Congrats! What change(s) did you make to require a 1-of-1 build?

Beautiful. Is "Bad MF'r" what you had put on the dash badge?

Where are the interior shots with the CF?

    Very nice of course.
1 of 1? It looks like every other ACR on the road.
What makes it 1 of 1?

While I get your point, it's not all about the paint. I'm sure he have different interior and other options.. I do agree that this paint scheme is repeated almost as much as white/black/red driver stipe. to each his own though. It's beautiful and something makes it one of one

I would guess it would be most popular, it's the color that broke all the records! So it's obviously fastest. lol

    Love it

I can't say definitely what makes it 1 of 1, but basically it is a GTS (all boxes checked sans electric seats) my wife was adamant that everything we had on the L.E we get with the ACR, so in essence we have a "wolf in sheeps clothing" haha

Interior shots of CF to come later, I was told/ knew the interior CF was a matte finish, but with the textures/ alcantara and red stitching in the cabin I just gotta say it WORKS

I have tried with several different variations, this made it through for about a week and then I got a letter killing it, they were concerned about the Vette boys feelings lol don't forget I live in "The Peoples Republic of California"

When Tim released it at CAAP, I was stunned, besides I never had a silver and I am just recently a convert to stripes after all the previous generations (I think my Gen V LE with the white stripes was just Bad Ass)

Now for the BAD news, after 160 PITA "break in" miles, I suspect/ know I have a bad differential/ trans. Immediately on her maiden run I noticed as did my wife a whine/ howl, chalked it up to "break in"(never had it in previous Gens but...), well it is becoming unbearable and I do mean to say she is howling, will keep you posted

Yeh, Mine Howls Slightly Also, Not To Bad But It's There , And This Was At 8 Miles On It , Gonna Run It Till It Blows Up, Or Just Starts To Scream Out Of Control, Seams It Is Pretty Common , I Think They All Do It , And To Replace The Rear With The Same ,It Will Do It Again, I Do Not Think It Has Anything To Do With Breakin, They Were Just Set Up Wrong From The Start, So Fast Or Slow On Break In, Does Not Matter ,It Will Howl And Sing, At Some Point It Will Fail Prematurely, Sounds To Me It Is A Shimming Issue .

I understand what you are saying, mine is getting seriously LOUD and this with "GTS" nvh/ carpeting enhancements and HK 18 speaker insulation. To say the least, I am very disappointed. All of my previous Gens were bullet proof (lucky?) Only issues ever were with the Gen V and this 4yrs into the design???

Some of us have/had diff whine - some worse than others, and some have been replaced. Mine has some - I have to be at 60+ in a high gear, and turn down the radio to hear it, but it is there. Some others (do a search here) have a major howl like you are describing. Interesting, over on the Challenger boards, they have this issue as well. They use Getrags, while we have Danas.

These are strong diffs, and I don't think I've read of one actual failure of one - I would guess that the ones that howl REAL bad would eventually go.

The car looks fantastic Steve, great choices! I love that Dodge is more lenient on badging than California, and furthermore the badge alone is worth the 1 of 1 layout!

Space, can you give us an update on where you stand with getting a replacement diff?
