So against everyone's advise and jokes about the exhaust, I ordered a Maximizer exhaust for my 2002 Viper. I paid around $800 shipped for the exhaust and it was here in 4 days. The exhaust looked nice, welds seemed clean and it was painted black. The item is made from mild steel not SS but the amount of miles I drive my car per year I dont foresee this being an issue for me.
Install was straight foward, however the band clamps it comes with have something weird going on where the way the edge is, you can not get the clamp tight enough to clamp the exhaust together tightly. I wound up using standard exhaust clamps.
Here are some videos at Idle, reving and inside the cabin driving. The drone inside the cabin is load dependant, not RPM or gear. Its a little louder than stock, but not obnoxious and makes the viper sound really exotic. One little feature i like is they used a crossover tube between the mufflers to balance out the pressure on each side, similar to the function of an X pipe. I think its this feature that makes it sound less like a UPS truck coming down the road and more like a high end exotic car.

All in all Im happy with the exhaust and the sound. Time will tell if it holds up on the car, and I will keep you updated of any failures or issues in the future. For the money, i think its a decent exhaust. I kinds like the black look..
