    Craig,

I got a few more requests for maintenance via email, told Al, I would combine the forum and email request via a spreadsheet and shoot it over to him Tuesday morning. I will provide you and Brian a copy also, because some members have responded they are coming but need no maintenance, and are staying for dinner.

The weather looks perfect for Saturday! Looking forward to seeing y'all tomorrow.

We'll have four dozen donuts from Daylight Donuts (yum!), so there will be plenty of sugar to go around!

If you're attending the GYMR event, and you would like some coffee during the event, please bring a coffee mug with you. It will make life easier on our hosts. Thank you!

    Guys,

GYMR V3.0 was a great success. First, I would like to thanks Janelle and Brian, for hosting all of us. Janelle, I know spent a lot of time preparing for us, those garages were spotless. Hopefully we left everything as clean as it was when we started and thanks for lunch, the subs hit the spot. Dugan & Craig, thanks for all you expertise and assisting all of us to get us out in time for dinner. Nina, dinner was excellent...you know the priority 1. Viper parking, 2. Quality of food and 3. Price, all were 100% great. Last but not least, for everyone that could make it I really enjoyed the conversations I with everyone. Next year, when we schedule GYMR V4.0, we will try not to do so close to Easter. All in all, it was a great success. For those that took picture, please post as soon as you can.

    Jeff, I couldn't agree more...it was a tremendous day!

Many thanks to club members Al Humphries and Mike Reeves from Capital Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Garner, NC for lining up the parts and fluids at a great discount and bringing them to the event, and they also brought the famous "Big Bertha" oil collection can so all the old fluids could be hauled off. These services are a huge benefit that Al and Mike provide to club members, and we all appreciate it very, very much!

Dugan, your Mityvac unit really made transmission fluid fills quick, so that's a good lesson learned! The other tool that was a HUGE help was the cable operated hose clamp removal tool (http://www.sears.com/craftsman-cable...9803000P?prdNo) when changing the radiator and heater hoses on a 2001 RT/10. There are several clamps that would have been nearly impossible to remove without this tool. Lastly, the Lisle radiator fill funnel is an awesome tool for getting the Gen II coolant refilled. (http://www.lislecorp.com/divisions/p...s/?product=606) Highly recommend it.

It was great to meet new members (John and Justin) and catch up with everyone else. And we were given a perfect day weather-wise, as it rained both Friday and Sunday, but was dry on Saturday. Can't wait for the next event!

    Craig,

I figured out what the heater hose issue was. My car was built in transitioning period from the 2000-2001. Its not the same as the 2000 or the 2001. It's unique apparently. This has happened before with them. Snake-oyl is helping me with the solution.

    Elaine,

Great photos and thanks for posting them so fast. All of us look so natural, like we are not posing for a shot. I glad you got several of Seth, we are going to miss the guy, but hopefully after CA, the Army will send him back are way or at least somewhere near by. Again, thanks for posting so quickly.

Lucky you! Glad Snake-Oyl is working with you to get this resolved. It will be interesting to see what the solution is for those heater hoses. Thanks for the update!
