Just so everyone knows, these guys are very deceptive. Needed a cam sensor for a Gen 2 Viper. They said they had OEM sensors (list price on an OEM sensor is $62, but currently on backorder), but wanted $118. I assumed the "double" price was because they had what no one else did. I ordered the sensor and confirmed again that this was an OEM sensor. I was told yes (They have these listed on Ebay as well, with a picture of a Mopar box, part number, and sensor, stating as "genuine OEM part"). So $130 shipped and I open the box and find an aftermarket Chinese sensor. The are selling the Walker 235-1115 for the V10 trucks, which BTW can be had for $40-45, and listing this as an OEM sensor. I called and was told the Mopar sensors are not available and this is what they use. I ask why are you listing them as OEM Mopar parts? No answer, but said they would issue a refund when they received it back. I told them that was very deceptive, not to mention the time I wasted waiting for the sensor when I could have just bought it locally for 3 times less. No apologies, nothing. If this is how The Viper Store does business, I'll pass. Stick with Roe Racing for your Viper needs, not this company that wants to gouge you on price and lie because Viper owners "can afford it".

Good info, thanks for sharing your experience. Let us know if they come through with the refund...and are they paying for return shipping since they sold you something other than what they advertised?

Yes, they sent me a call tag today. Guess we'll see about getting refunded. My fault for not checking online reviews, which is why I decided to join the forum, so I could let others know that didn't check reviews either!

    CJD Auto,

The OEM Cam sensors were out of stock here at the time you ordered. We did have a cache of about 30 of them, which flew out the door. The sensor that you were sent is a great alternative and we've had no issues reported back to us that they're not functioning. We're sorry that you were unhappy with your purchase and as soon as the sensor is back in the door here you'll be refunded completely no question.

Just so everyone is aware... This sensor must have been installed and must be working as it should since it was never returned. Those of you who are concerned need not be. The sensors have been changed on the website and reflect as such. Deception is not the goal here. If the sensor had been returned obviously the money would have been refunded in full. We appreciate everyone's business and love helping out when we can!
