No this isn't the "I finally got a viper" thread. Not yet.

But after 4 years, I'm finally giving my current position two weeks notice. It's been a struggle with the current job and last week I couldn't deal with it anymore. They broke the camels back and my grandfather, he passed away last month and for two months it was stressful trips to the hospital. I couldn't stand looking at hospital equipment anymore cause I was so familiar with it.

So I got a new job doing graphic design and sales of motorsports safety equipment like shoes, suits, helmets, gloves, etc. I'm pretty excited, I submitted my resume to FCA about a month ago. I haven't heard back yet, my fingers are still crossed for that and this was too good of an opportunity to pass up, so this is perfect for me till then. To finally get a chance in the automotive industry is like getting a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Oh and my office, the room next door will be getting an iRacing simulator.

Congratulations. You gotta keep yourself spiritually happy. It's not worth getting the life sucked out of you.

So on the safety equipment, will you be offering a discount to VOA members? I need a helmet and I bet others do too. Maybe your company will want to offer something like that. A lot of people here who need hear. I'd rather buy it from you than some ramdom website.

Thank you guys for the support! I'll probably move some of my 'neat stuff' to the office this weekend. There are several familiar names in the place! Bell, Wittmer, Schumacher, Petty to name a few. We might go across the pond in September! Pretty excited about that.

I'm going to talk to Robert (owner) about maybe getting a sponsorship involved with the VOA. Don't want to break any forums rules but it's one of the many things we discussed. We are currently doing a promotion for NASA Northeast. So hopefully I can get something setup.
