    94 red R/T price

What would a fair price be for a red 94 with under 10k miles.

Well it depends on what condition it is. Mint- like new 38-41-k

That's disappointing... was hoping my 93 with 5k would start appreciating. It's in showroom condition with OEM everything.

That may be the issue. OEM everything means that if a buyer actually wants to DRIVE the car (I have a friend looking for a Gen 1), they're going to have to throw money into it: head gaskets, tires, fluid changes, belt, and maybe hoses). So a few thousand dollars right there.

If they're not going to drive, but keep it as a museum piece, then that's different.

The car is in perfect working condition and everything has been checked. All filters replaced and new wires too.
I'll throw in a pair of upgraded JonB gaskets in for free.

    LOL

    But I'm not selling..

For any car to appreciate there has to be some demand. There just isn't any.

I think a lot of people like to admire the gen 1, but a limited audience wants to really buy one. I feel they are the least practical out of all the Vipers. I owned one for 8 years and it was a great car.

Prices have been going up on these cars for over a year, they are commanding much better prices, stock and modified.

When I wanted to get another Gen 1 to replace on I traded many years ago..many told me to look for a Gen 2. I have a 2000 GTS and I do understand the differences between the generations...but I wanted a Gen 1. I wanted the no-airbag, no windows car. I wound up with a '96 RT that has the GTS suspension, so I really got a Gen 1.5.

I realized that my '96 turned 20 this year and the values are coming up. Vipers have never been for everyone, so I'm sure they take some time to sell but (IMHO) a clean, stock Gen 1 will bring the money. If I had the space and funds...I'd buy a sidepipe car.
