im not speaking for the VOA but the "F" bombs he tosses around have to stop and he cant make things personal with guys he disagrees with or doesnt like. hes definitely one of the smartest gen2 guys around and can be incredibly helpful, the voa site can use him around but hes gotta play by the voa rules... but i still love him

I concur with the comment above. I love the attitude Dave brings, and his knowledge is beyond compare. It is just the F bombs are too much forhere. It isn't that we are prudish but that there are some who do try to refrain from such terms.

I think the moderators should just advise Dave that every "f-word" will get changed manually by the moderators to Fudge. That would work, right?

I don't know the guy, but how is it ok that every time he makes a thread the same couple people go in and bash him, and that's ok??????? I understand the F bomb part, but it gets annoying trying to read through all that S.

Have you ever seen his comments about B/W GTS's? That alone should be enough. I'm not even going to talk about cam sensors. Oh the humanities.

Most of the people that jump in and bash him, aren't really bashing him (except BS99 lol). Everybody knows everybody and it's all in fun.

Concur with the potty mouth stuff though. I never use those words.

I agree with double0fox. There would be less trouble if some people could use the ignore feature like plum's signature states. I am not claiming Dave is with out blame here either as I know he brings a fair share of trouble on himself. However if you don't like the guy and it's clear that at least 3 people intensely dislike him, don't follow him around the forum bashing and provoking him.

And if those 3 people aren't really bashing him, you could have fooled me.

There's been a number of times the Mod team has reached out to Dave, asking for him to follow forum rules. Including a few times he's been asked to edit his posts. Posts that the mods have had to go in and edit. Plus other requests from City to play by the forum rules like all the other forum users, and a previous temporary ban, as a cooling off period. There are posting issues that have gone beyond the small group who continually test each other.

After going back and reading some of the vile stuff he negative repped me hundreds of times on the Alley I have to say he has a screw loose. Doubt if he can control himself for long, especially towards me so, so long Dave...lol.

He is his own worst enemy. Far as Im concerned whatever he contributes is offset by his attitude,behavior and personal attacks. I think he is better of on the Alley where he belongs.
