im not speaking for the VOA but the "F" bombs he tosses around have to stop and he cant make things personal with guys he disagrees with or doesnt like. hes definitely one of the smartest gen2 guys around and can be incredibly helpful, the voa site can use him around but hes gotta play by the voa rules... but i still love him

I think the moderators should just advise Dave that every "f-word" will get changed manually by the moderators to Fudge. That would work, right?

I concur with the comment above. I love the attitude Dave brings, and his knowledge is beyond compare. It is just the F bombs are too much forhere. It isn't that we are prudish but that there are some who do try to refrain from such terms.

I agree with double0fox. There would be less trouble if some people could use the ignore feature like plum's signature states. I am not claiming Dave is with out blame here either as I know he brings a fair share of trouble on himself. However if you don't like the guy and it's clear that at least 3 people intensely dislike him, don't follow him around the forum bashing and provoking him.

And if those 3 people aren't really bashing him, you could have fooled me.

Please explain how they are clueless. I just joined this site and have already seen people trolling dave6666...especially in that thread about the Gen II hood. Rook makes an excellent point. It's obvious that there are people here who really don't like dave, and that is fine; but instead of ignoring him, they go and troll him. They know he will go off and that is probably part of the reason they do it (the last sentence is speculation but it's pretty obvious imho).

Having said that, I know that dave6666 is 100% at fault for the way he responds and; if I was a moderator, I would have done the same thing. You cannot come in here and cuss someone out. I've been a member of the Alley for 8 years and agree, if you're going to talk like that, it needs to stay over there or in PM.

One more quick observation. Just because you don't cuss someone out, doesn't mean you are innocent. Sybil...you just called two people clueless. How is that not doing the same thing as dave? Basically, calling someone clueless is the same thing as calling them a fucking idiot but without the cuss words. Don't be a hypocrite and go after someone when you are doing the same thing but in a more professional context...

Then you really do not know Dave's true colors. If you think he is the victim you are sadly mistaken pal. In fact it actually sickens me to see people stick up for him and paint him as a victim. What he gets in the form of people baiting him and trolling him, he has brought upon himself tenfold in the past. Trust me when I say this, he is NOT by any means an innocent victim of trolling, and this site is a far better place without him and the rest of the VA crew.

The point was, there are people that do troll him to illicit a response. Yes, I'm sure he brought it on himself, but that doesn't mean the other people get a free pass.

Like I said again in my previous post (a lot of echo's in here today), I am an 8 year member over at the Viper Alley. I also know that there are several members here that are on the Alley as well so your assumption that this place is better off without the VA crew is way off. Some of them are moderators over here. The difference is, they know how to act professionally here and dave doesn't. I wouldn't be so quick to lump the entire VA crew in with dave...

Given the fact that the depth of knowledge and experience with both modified and stock earlier generation Vipers of 'the VA crew' FAR exceeds that available here, I'm sure you are correct.

Stating a fact dude. Not personally attacking although they will take it that way ...lol. When it comes to him I have the most experience. Doesn't matter what I think or anyone else for that matter. It's the rules that do and obviously he won't follow them and he is smart enough to know that he was going to get banned which I think he deliberately wanted.
