    It's Finally Here

Best x-mas present one can get. I received pics from the line as it was being built, during delivery, and then when I visited.

Windows are tinted, and now it's going to get black snakeskin stripes which we just laid out. Then a host of small touches and then Clearbra. As with all the Vipers, they always look better in person. I'm more excited about this car actually than all of my past Vipers. Can't wait to see how it compares to my GenIV relative to performance as that one has adjustable suspension and all the goodies.

Big thanks for John Gastman at Roanoke Motors. As always he's not only informed but he's someone to trust and provides a first rate experience.

Looks great; the hottest snake in the hottest color.

I'd keep it stock, but your mods sound cool & look forward to seeing them

    I am insanely jealous.

I totally want to have mine repainted orange, but after seeing the carbon, I wonder if Prefix can do satin Orange...

From what we've seen, there probably isn't much they wouldn't be able to do.

I didn't ask for any favors of the SRT guys or John. I was fine getting it like everyone else. It's #28 of 93.

The quality of the CF is very good. The finish on the new cars is extremely good. It's painful to think that we'll be sanding down panels for the stripes but I trust my paint guys. Can't wait to make sure of the electronics on club cruises. In the old days I had 2 radios (diff frequencies), 1 cell phone (no Bluetooth on the car) , and a mobile nav (no nav on the car). With nav and Bluetooth built in, it'll be a breeze. And not one but two cupholders! ;.) On my 14 SRT Jeep I have the current electronics that are in the Viper and they are awesome. I still cant get over how light the trunk and hood are now. In the old days you just drop it to close it. Now you actually have to push the trunk so that it slams enough to lock because it's so light. Only problem... my old license plate frame doesn't fit due to the backup camera.

Congrats Alex! Say isn't John a big lover of the Orange Vipers? How did you pry that away from him? I followed John to VOI11 for as long as I was brave enough to travel at those speeds. Then his Bright Orange ACR, Black drivers stripe was just a blur!
