Darius--what color are the wheels? I saw you said they brushed but are they brushed tinted dark, titanium, or something else cool I haven't seen before?

That looks really good. Excellent choice on wheel style.

The rims aren't even listed on their site yet. I stumbled across them just searching Iforged. I came across this write up on the owner of Iforged's personal car, which is freaking bad ass! The color is listed in the write up, it was a bit more $ but the rims still came in at 5k for the set which is a bargain compared to ADV1's or HRE.

For 20/21? I figured they'd be quite a bit more than that...they have another, somewhat similar wheel that I'd really like in 19...gonna have to talk to Tony.

iForged Deep Concave (any style) http://iforged.com/v8/series/concave-series/47
    Standard finishes w/ polished lip
    19x11/20x13 = $4650/set
    20x11/21x13 = $4835/set

    Happy to help anyone interested.

That looks dumb, Darius. And by dumb, I mean that looks F'ing badass!

    They really look great.
    Changes the look of car.
I have an ACR on order, delivery hopefully in March.
What is the impact of the bigger wheels?
Can you use the same original tires?
    Is the ride harder?

They are SHARP Darius!! They look like they BELONG on the car!! Something SRT could have charged even MORE for-very OEM!!! They SOOOOO WORK!!

  15. #65
What company did you use for the tire lettering?

I love the color and design of the wheels although I can say 21" is too big for my taste. Big wheels on sports cars look cool in video games. Not a fan of them on the street. Regardless, they look good.

    Now the tire lettering...that's a little ricer/ghetto.

Looks cool, gives it that race car feel.

How is the ride and handling on wheels that size?

Factory rim and tire are smaller so you cant re-use the factory tires. I doubt Kumho has the ACR spec tires in 20/21" rim sizes. The GT3 guys want that sizing baaaad. But this is a street setup so no need to use the Kumho's for that.

I cant speak for Vipers but on my cars/trucks I've had the bigger rims did not impact ride quality like most think. Some of the cars felt like the ride improved with the bigger rims.

I'm curious to hear if the ACR with 20,21 rides harsher with shock adjusted for more streetable comfort...

If I didn't know I swapped the rims I never would have known. The car drives exactly the same as it did before the rim swap. I've always been able to tell when I've changed rims on previous cars but not this one. If anything the steering feels a bit lighter. One thing I noticed with my ACR was the steering felt heavier than my TA. Now it feels more like the TA. I think because the ACR tires are so grippy, and now I'm on a regular street tire. No rubbing at all.

good lord Darius your car looks amazing. I"m working with Tony on a set of wheels for mine and I was only thinking 19/19 but after seeing yours I might need to step up my game.

You could do what quite a few of my racing customers do, go with multiple sets of rear wheel sizes and tires, for every occasion. I have a rear pair of 17s, 18s, and 19s for my own car.

Also did the 6-pack on this ZR1 and Viper. Street tires on the large wheel, drag radials on the smaller wheel. 19/19R and 19/18R

Did 19/19 and 19/20 on this Viper.

    Darius;

I normally really don't like dark rims but those are awesome. I am looking at a used 2014 SRT in GTSR Blue so you are giving me some damn good dream material right there.
