    Nineball,
I have a gen 3 copperhead that I just got about a month ago. The previous owner upgraded the wheels to 19's up front and 20's in the back. I just put new tires on and was curious if you think the 19x10 fronts, and 20x13 rears combo would be a good fit for 275/35/19 and 335/30/20 tires. I'm interested in the Bronze Burst wheels. I live in San Antonio so if I do pull the trigger I could probably arrange to drive to Houston to pick up to avoid some shipping charges.
    Thank you in advance. David

Tony -- Did anyone ever bring an ACR-E in to see if they will clear? I know it will be very tight, but really interested in hearing if they clear.

Have not tried them yet. Sorry!

Not available in Super Deep, due to the 6-lug requirements. I doubt they would fit anyways, since we have huge brake calipers and the super deep cores get really close to the calipers towards the centers.

Just ordered my 19/20 combo in bronze for my 2005 Copperhead! I will post pictures in few weeks once I receive them and get them mounted. Thanks nine ball for the help!

    Tony,
Which size do I need to order to use stock gen V tires with? Is a brushed aluminum look possible? Thank you!

  8. #108
I recently bought a 94 RT/10 and joined the club. Do you still have any of the 18"/19" combo in stock? Are there any spacers required, or are they a direct bolt on? What size tires would you recommend?

Ruski: 18x11 and 19x13 work perfectly with the Gen 5 tires. Only powdercoat finishes are available.

Zach: No spacers, these are machined specifically for the Viper, including being hub-centric.

    Thanks
    Tony

Here they are. Installed. Finally was able to get the car over to the shop in Miami that installed the wheels and the new tires. Had them mounted and Road Force balanced. The guys at the shop did an awesome job! If you guys need the tires and wheels done in South Florida, PM me and I'll give you the shop that did it. Great place.

Wheels look awesome and fit and cleared perfectly as promised by Tony. I went with the 18x11 fronts with the 19x13 rears. I have a big brake upgrade (Gen IV front calipers and Gen II fronts relocated to rear) on the car and the wheels cleared perfectly. No spacers needed as I had with the stock Gen II wheels.

I think the car looks so much better with a really refreshed look.

These are the fronts, old and new, side by side....

Thanks again Tony for a great set of wheels and the perfect fit!

    Luis,

Congrats, they look great. Have you noticed any difference in the way it drives?

    Thanks,

    Rick

Only driving I have done was a quick 1 hour drive. Did some highway driving. I felt the drive to be great. Nothing adverse at all. I was expecting to get some more "tracking" with the larger tires but the drive felt pretty much the same. As for the twisties... I live in Miami. Not a lot here I can give you a feeling about. It's all flat and straight for the most part. But overall, I like the feel very much so far.

The wheels are significantly lighter. When moving them around vs. the stock, the difference is very noticeable. Obviously the dropping of the un-sprung weight is a good thing, but I won't be able to really give you a feel about that until I hit some curves.

Yes, we have 19x11 / 19x13 cores in stock. The wheels are currently taking 3-5 weeks to powdercoat.

Got my wheels installed today! 20x13 in the rear, 19x10 up front in Bronze Burst Metallic. Thanks Tony for the excellent customer service and taking the time to answer all of our fitment questions on here. I wanted something that made the car a little more modern, and made it look more like a race car. These Forgestars definitely did it! Anyone on the fence about ordering these wheels from Tonytake it from me, you will not be disappointed! Pick your color, place your order, and they will be delivered to your doorstep as promised.

For the 19x11 and 20x13 sets, I like these sizes:

    295/30-19 front
    345/30-20 rear

This is why I bought a set! A drop of 20-30% in wheel weight is much appreciated.

Hey Tony just got a 2006 coupe. Bought 275/35/18 front and 355/30/19 tires on a steal of a price. How would your 18/19 setup work with these tires? CAR has coilover set up with it lowered will there be much rubbing issues on those offsets?
    Thanks in advance

    Hey Tony.

I was thinking about a set of these for the track, and if they're track only I might do something dumb like blue. Lol.

Any idea how close the blue would be to the comp blue?

They have a bright blue, but it is more like a normal blue. Comp Blue is lighter in shade. For that color car, I'd go with gold, white, or bronze burst. Could also do bright orange, that would look cool and tie in with the TA theme.
